We made our mind up that they are “scum” because they gunned down a man in cold blood.
The elder McMichael was a police officer for 20 years, and according to some posts above, the Younger McMichael trained coast guard servicemen how to successfully board a vessel with hostiles on it.
These sound like professionals to me.
And good work on your arrest.
As was pointed out above, previously Arbery was running straight at the younger McMichael until the younger McMichael pulled out his shotgun at which time Arbery immediately stopped and ran back the other direction.
Trying to break into another car in an effort to flee is also evidence that Arbery was dangerous.
It simply saddens me that so many of our juries have inabilities to accurately judge cases, and you have given me another example of why this is.
Two white women wanted to throw him to the wolves to avoid riots, but after several days they were talked out of it and did the right thing.
It is no surprise to me that Juries have once again botched a case. It happens a lot.
This verdict was NOT race-based AND it was fair. Just like the Rittenhouse trial was just and the trial was fair.
Good for our juries - good for our legal system... A pox on BLM thugs for trying to intimidate citizens.
Now they will be raped and murdered in prison.
I live outside Philly. If I tried to stop blacks from committing crime, I wouldn’t even make a dent.

If your argument has been they should never have tried to do anything to a black guy because of the political minefield associated with it, I can agree with that, but I try to look at treating people equally and judge based on objective standards, not political considerations.
Take out the politics, and this case would never have been brought.

I have not seen the video so I'm talking out my butt, but I'm having a difficult time not blaming ineptitude.
There was someone following Arbery filming him. The retired LEO and his son were video taped parked pointed the wrong direction partway off the road near the only entrance/exit to the community. The Retired LEO was standing outside the vehicle on the driver side. His son was outside the vehicle on the other side of the road with the shotgun. Arbury charged them dropping something like a hammer on the side of the road and rushed the father (LEO). Arbury then continued around the back of the truck and charged at the son and grabbed the shotgun by the barrel and tried to pull it away. The shotgun fired once at what looked to be just in the air and again hitting Arbury. There may have been another shot too, I don’t remember. The truck maay have passed Arbury at some point, I don’t know that. I can see why police just let looters loot, burn and sometimes kill. Too much risk in stopping it these days.

Nope. Not a chance. I didn’t form an opinion until reading the Legal Insurrection stuff, and their stuff is actual pro-defendant in this case.
