Stay classy, Miami
Hectic scene at the Miami International Airport where a passenger got into a physical altercation with a police officer and the officer pulled a gun.
Multiple other passengers got involved in the altercation.
The man was arrested. pic.twitter.com/8ERhW4H9Mw

VIDeo at link..........................
No need to look.
There’s a lot more to this that’s not stated in the video.
It was not the Amish this time.
It was the Mennonites!
;-)
One thing I noticed was that instead of running for cover when the cop pulled out his gun, some people got out their cell phones to take video and actually moved in closer. A sign of our times.
I was all set to criticize that cop for escalating the situation by pulling his gun. But after watching the video I’m not so sure the cop was wrong.
“No need to look.”
Actually there is. From what I see a few white guys jumped in to assist the black man who was the focus of the cop’s attentions. They also got between the cop and the black guy when the cop pulled his gun. If you watch the body language of the white guys they were facing the cop and had their backs to the black guy. The men intervening obviously did not see the black man as the threat.
From what I see here it was the cop who was the threat.
I’ll wait to hear more of this but it’s a safe bet that anyu charges against the black guy will shortly be dropped and yet another lawsuit against the MPD will be filed and then settled for a wheelbarrow full of money.

Did the airport popeyes run out of chicken sandwiches again?
I hate these, because they give the video zero context.
Pardon me if I have little confidence in the law enforcement agencies of southern Florida. The abuses these agencies commit are legion.
Here’s the results of a simple search:

When you dig into the data you’ll find a stark contrast between the jackboots of southern Florida and the much more professional law enforcement agencies of the northern part of the state.
Not sure why you responded with a judgement like that. I’m just offering more info that wasn’t available in the original post.
The traveler took the keys to the golf cart and wouldn’t let the employee leave.
This is the putting green my old company did for PBIA. Imagine giving clubs and balls out in MIA? Good Lord!
I think grabbing the cops wrist was the last straw. Not a good idea during a tense situation and Lotd only knows what words were exchanged. The guy had already taken the keys to the golf cart and wouldn’t return them.
