In the Bluegrass music world, we lost some giant banjoists.
Bill Emerson, Sonny Osborne, Dennis Caplinger.

I’ve heard of some of these people, but I see that Rush is missing! What idiots they are at CBS! They now lost the remaining 1% of their audience who may be conservative.

(Our biggest problem, by far, is that most of the media is hate & agenda driven, not truth driven.)

At least the NY Times had him in their list.
When Tony Snow died, he was left of the FOX News list!...............................

(Well I'm all broken up about that man's rights...)
To: Red Badger
Noted that more of the deceased were writers, musicians, inventors....but the most notable death was truth and open minded inquisitiveness in the media.

To: dfwgator
For me it was Lloyd Price. Just broke my heart.
Jim Weatherly was a shock, surprising that Sue Thompson made it to 96. Great singers B.J. Thomas, Jay Black and Joe Simon.
To: smalltownslick
Yes! How could I forget J.D.?
To: Red Badger
Mostly left wing and gay nobodies I never heard of.
To: ArtDodger
Well it was recent, so you could be excused if you missed it.
