Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a car crash on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles that saw his enormous SUV slam into another car leaving the other driver badly hurt.
The former governor, 74, was driving a Yukon SUV about half a mile from his home in Brentwood, when it smashed into a red Prius at 5pm. The airbags deployed as a result of the collision.
The SUV then started to roll onto a white Porsche Cayenne that was directly behind Schwarzenegger's.
Law enforcement say they believe the accident was the fault of the actor who was attempting to make a left turn.
Police say Schwarzenegger was making a left turn while the traffic lights were still on red. He was not ticketed by police.
Images posted to social media show the offside driver's wheel of his SUV firmly on the hood of the Prius when everything came to a stop.
The female driver was hurt in the crash and was seen to be bleeding heavily. She was taken by ambulance to hospital.
One eyewitness told TMZ that it looked like a stunt from from a movie.

I just looked it up, it’s a 1/2” difference. That’s a trim variation. They’re the same car with some different options / drivetrains.

Yep, the Prius is on the wrong side of the road. And, looking at all the pics in the article, it was travelling at some speed to push the GMC back and over two vehicles behind. No way the Prius was attempting a controlled U-Turn, but maybe travelling straight on.
Explains why the cops on the scene are in no hurry to ticket Arnold.
I’m recall one of the Williams sisters got caught in similar situation. I’m sure the investigators will work it out.
Also note that it doesn’t look like either vehicle is ON Sunset Blvd.
Looking at all the photos, the Prius was clearly in his lane as he was preparing to make the left turn. He hadn't even entered the intersection yet.....
