I don't even think of my V10 Excursion (the biggest SUV in the world) as "enormous".
It's just the right size for doing the stuff I need it to do.
I hate to break it to you but the suburban in the Yukon are essentially the same platform a slightly different sheet metal.

Actually, the GMC Yukon and the Chevy Suburban are very similar. They come similarly equipped. The Yukon comes with slightly more deluxe trim. The Yukon is about 16" shorter and weighs about 150 pounds less. This is not enough to make much of a difference in a crash. They are both big SUVs.
