Had a call from my daughter Katy today. She's very very sick with Covid. She works at home and was not going to get vax, but she needed one to got to Hawaii with her husband for their anniversary and didn't want to waste time in quarantine. Had the one-shot J&J in September.
Her husband also had to have vax, as he works for Sheriff's Dept. He had covid too, but it was like a bad cold and he got over it in three days.
Idaho Doctors can use the monoclonal treatment. Tractor supply sells ivermectin horsepaste. I’ve used the horse paste. Judge it by weight plus D,zinc, C, quecertin.
Are you “vax”d? Wondering what works best for those who are...as in this thread, and, unfortunately, a couple of family members :-(

I’ve heard the J&J isn’t as effective as the others with omicron. Prayers that she heals soon. I just got over it myself. Yucky stuff.

but the absolutely most critical factor of all is to treat ASAP, which means don’t screw around: go get these things NOW (including horse paste) and start taking them NOW! ... go buy this stuff NOW, and if not available locally, order online and pay whatever is required for overnight shipping ...

Most excellent advice. Katy has four dogs and walks them every day.
They also live on 20 acres and she can just let them out to run. Will most certainly tell her to keep walking them.
I’m on day 14 of Covid and I also had it 14 months ago and was vaxxed about 6 months ago, no booster so I’m surmising that both natural immunity and vax immunity have worn off.
I’m only mildly sick, but it’s also lasting longer than a cold which is annoying as heck. Congestion, cough, headache and ringing ears so loud it’s deafening. My blood pressure spiked up into very high ranges the first week also.
Been doing Vit D hammers (50,000 units) every other day, taking aspirin for blood thinning, Zycam nasal swabs and mouthwash.
The advice about on singing and moving about is very good advice. Tell her to wrap up in a blanket and go sit outside in the sunshine if any occurs. Only been a couple of sunny days here in the last two weeks, but they really do perk me up.

There are both monoclonal antibodies and the new Pfizer anti-viral that are both effective. Get her on the phone with a doctor ASAP.
It is common. I took it on a wafer cookie with a shot off ice tea. Mucinex for congestion and the vitamins. Took a dose by weight day one, day 3 dose two. Lots of rest and attack it. I’m 70 and a prostate cancer survivor. Good luck for Katy. Prayers up.
