I’m fine with using these selectively prohibited drugs for medicinal purposes. I have an uncle who experiences significant pain, and his marijuana prescription provides him great relief without the potentially harsh side effects of Big Pharma offerings.

That being said, a nation of stoners is no good. Government will be able to do anything it wants, and it’s close enough to doing that now as it is.

Sweet smelling, yes. I consider pungent to mean very unpleasant.

Many find it extremely unpleasant and off-putting. That said, I love the smell of an old style gas pump and am okay with the smell of tobacco, though a non-smoker. My wife hates both.

I got a neighbor who is on it. Been on it since before it became legal.
He came over a couple months ago and stoked up in front of me on my property. He made a forced exit.
I wont allow him on my property ever again. The man is one weird freak. Sits in his house with a spotting scope watching all the neighbors around. Deserts dont have many trees and things to block the line of site. My other neighbor called the cops on him for being a peeping tom. I never got the story on that one, they wont tell us.

BTW, I have a brother who passed away last march from liver failure. Had to have that brandy every day from the time he got up till he passed out at night. I tell you this. It was not the way to go.

I have COPD and never so much as smoked one thing. EVER. But was around folks who smoked like chimneys.

If it was up to you, and people like you, Trump would never have been president.

REMEMBER?

Some of us do not forget what moronic, ridiculous POS you acted like. I haven’t.

Sorry, I don’t support big government, ACA, flooding the country with illegals, and lefty Supreme Court justices like you do. Congratulations on your Biden that you wanted.

Oh, you mean like battle-scarred vets who don’t want to be addicted to opioids? Those are terrible people, right - because they want to use a plant that God created with certain healing qualities? You haven’t got any idea how ignorant you sound.

WTF ever happened to letting adults choosing their OA medicine or means of recreating, so long as they don’t hurt others? Are you THAT opposed to personal liberties?

FYI, I don’t smoke that crap - never have, never will. But liberty is far more important to me as a concept and a reality than my personal preferences.

Ever been in a bar when smoking indoors was legal? I can see a non-smoker being totally turned off by burning weed! I am an ex-smoker and I can’t stand the smell of cigarette smoke. Period

Cigarettes kill but the psychiatric impact isn’t the same. The “high” one gets from potent weed leads to traffic fatalities in the short term and proneness to mental illnesses and psychiatric disturbance in the long term.

Liberty and lawlessness (whether of the individual mind or the body public) cannot coexist. Weed is devastating Los Angeles and rotting the place in more ways than one.

Trump has a NY residence and can switch it in 2 days, just like Cheney did in 2000 to run with Bush.

Pungent means intense in odor, pleasant or not.

No one should have to breathe in someone else’s drugs. Nothing good comes from legalizing vices.

Not this new stuff. It really reeks bad. The stuff back before they made the THC through the roof is pungent as hell

I support Biden.. So you’re trying to get laughed right off the foru?

You’re the one who obsessively posted posted every anti-Trump article you came across. Some of us will NOT forget that, and you won’t either.

I would be embarrassed to even show my face here... silly old fool.

I will vote for marijuana for medical purposes but not for recreational. Weed is legal in Florida for medical. There is no reason to make it legal for recreational.

You helped make Biden president. At the end of the day you are bashing me because I’m conservative and won’t compromise, just because the media tells me. Sorry, I still am. i don’t care if RINOs shame me for being too conservative. Enjoy the Obamas and Bidens you helped get into power.

It’s interesting how some people say that. I hear it a quite a bit where I live (San Francisco), e.g., “I don’t smoke weed, but I *love* the smell.”

I, on other hand, absolutely hate the smell. I find it to be one of the most disgusting, nauseating smells in the world, and I can’t stand to be around it.

I don’t smoke tobacco either, but for whatever reason, the smell doesn’t offend me. I can be around people smoking cigars, cigarettes, pipes, and it’s fine. I can’t explain it. Either our brains are wired to like or dislike certain smells (nature), or it’s what we grew up around (nurture). Tobacco smoke was around a lot more when I was a kid in the ‘70s, but I was never really around pot smoke.

I can smell it a mile away and unless you’re under the influence, it does smell terrible. Unlike a whiff of ‘fresh’ cigarette smoke, heehee -from an ex-smoker of 38 years. Always said if I made it to 80, I would take it up again, but I don’t want to smell like that again.
