Successful businessman Paul Radin invites three people from his past to join him in the underground bunker he's built under his commercial office building. His former military commander had him court-martialed; his former teacher ridiculed and humiliated him in class after she caught him cheating; and his church Minister who ruined his reputation after he drove a girl to suicide. It’s a different premise, but I highly recommend the old episode of “The Shelter.”
It shows the darkness that lurks in mankind.
One of the best zones. Amazing that so much could be packed into a 22 minute drama. The fearful urge for survival at all costs, human mistrust, selfish goals, ethnic fears and hatred,.stupidity, laziness, foresight.
I remember this episode. One of many utterly profound glimpses into human nature submitted by the Twilight Zone.
Gotta remember the times.
This episode was aired before Glenn’s premiere US orbital flight. We were behind, plus the RATS that held the WH and both Sen. and House were still pushing the lie about a “Missile Gap”
Our politicians were very active to have us believe it was scary era!!
