LOL! Note to self, German Shepherds make better companions than Weimaraners.
Funny
Never vacuum around a horny Weimaraner.
Ping
Aw, c’mon, man! The Weimaraner was just trying to push his master up onto the couch. 😇
German Shepherds are not only fearless, but scary smart.
Thanks!! Couldn’t stop laugh. Had tears rolling down my face.
Agreed
I have a four year old, 110 pound male GSD. I call him the beast.
Weimar says “Hey, never let a crisis go to waste!”
Proud, loyal, brave.
Like their ancestors, the Border Collie; the world’s oldest smartest dog breed.
That was hilarious!
“I have a four year old, 110 pound male GSD. I call him the beast.”
I have a somewhat younger, 100 pound male GSD. Sometimes I call him Jethro Bodine.
It’s strange, though...there’s one woman veterinarian at the clinic for whom he has a great deal of hostility. They think he’s protecting me from her, but I’m puzzled.
Not horny.
A dominance behavior.
He was down and the dog grabbed the chance to show him who is boss.
An Akita almost bit my face once, before his owner saw it coming and pulled it away. He said that the dog had just been to a female vet, and maybe I resembled her.
Is your dog around any women routinely?
“Is your dog around any women routinely?”
My wife, a couple of my daughters, and a granddaughter, but they all get along famously.
I love the Jethro Bodine nickname. It would suit mine as well. He’s just a big ole love. Very protective of me but not aggressive. He has no idea how big he is.
Dogs, especially, GSDs have incredible instincts when it comes to people. If he is hostile to this person, there is probably a reason.
Has the dog exhibited antipathy toward the woman vet more than once?

Maybe she’s a leftwad.
“Has the dog exhibited antipathy toward the woman vet more than once?”
Every time except maybe the first. He’s okay when they take him into another room and I’m not there...or so they tell me.
I wonder if she did something that hurt him the first time.
Dogs aren’t exactly like horses in terms of remembering bad experiences, but they DO remember things.
