First Time Visit To New York City Recommend Things to See and Do
Me | 5/8/2022 | Me

Wife and I are planning a weeks trip to NYC, I’ve never been so I’m looking for recommendations on things to see or do. We’re planning on at least 1 broadway show and the MOMA but if you know of a cool thing or something really interesting I’d love to hear your suggestion, thanks in advance.

Go to any airport and for your safety, leave.

I like Long Island much more than the City.

But if you have to do the City, then the WTC memorial is a must.

My son, who is moving to New York later this month, got very involved at The Cloisters museum on his recent, apartment-shopping visit.

Haven’t been in some time

I used to check the back of the latest issue of the New Yorker for what’s happening
Stay way from the subway

Museums, opera, ballet. Jazz

911 museum- if you go there go to O’Hara’s for a beer and fried chicken

Read a bit of ‘Up in the Old Hotel’ and go on that tour

Tea at The Plaza.

I’m always told by my cousins, who grew up there as is did, go to the Cloisters. I have never been. It is way up town

Second that one. Been years since I worked there, but lived in Hoboken. Go to Stevens’s tech, best views of Manhattan.

You will have no choice but to visit the Antifa/BLM gauntlet.

Good luck.
