The last thing any nation wants to see is the decline of its safety (think: An empire losing strength as barbarians are set to storm the gates). In our case, the signs of decay are there for anyone to see. But of course, there are none so blind as they who will not see.
Here are four examples of troubling trends:
Leadership: With Biden, America has a chief executive who must resort to cue cards to know how to enter a room, sit down, and give preapproved and scripted answers to reporters’ questions while acting as if his answers sprang spontaneously from some depth of understanding. He is also a shallow President who seems to relish his power and doesn’t shy from insulting and alienating half the country with pugilistic threats.
The scary part to me is that the President of the Russian Federation, Putin, can present an in-depth and even professorial speech to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Plenary that expresses in fine detail his government’s position on the changing world economics and the war in Ukraine. Whether his assertions are valid or not, the message follows a certain logical progression.
The difference the two leaders show in intellectual capacity is scary.

I fear for my future too.
When I was a middle schooler 50 YEARS AGO, I knew then that the DEAD always VOTED DEMOCRAT. It was a joke that if a Democrat had a cemetery in his precinct, victory was assured.
GOP has been Blind, Dumb and STUPID for 50 years. Change is coming when? I know June 31st..............

The worst part is that, the decline and destruction of our nation, came from within, where the enemy resides in the White House and in congress, and throughout the left-wing media.
It’s assault that is multifaceted, and hard to control, with a citizenry that either doesn’t care or is in denial or is too ignorant to notice, or has been indoctrinated to the point that they have become the enemy within.
That kind of nation cannot exist for long, unless there is another revolution that takes care of that enemy and sends them to where they belong.
Two words: Consent Order.

At the rate we are going down there is not future for America at all. Way too many things are in play for the destruction to be able to change them. Most are obvious and no one does anything about them.

Exactly, I used to be a poll watcher in Michigan for the GOP, then I asked what they do about the fraud I reported, and I was told they can’t do anything because of a consent order.
That’s when I stopped being a poll watcher for the GOP...they are either stupider or crookeder than the dems...

You make some great points. I say this not to sound like a pessimist but a realist with the only solution. I love my country and sorrow over her demise. My sorrow is so deep that I can hardly bear it.
Many Republicans conspire with the left. Power motivates them to betray the American people.
So deep is the hold Satan has on the governing body of this country that God alone is the only One who can rescue us. Pray, then redemption will come for our beloved America.
We share the blame for not taking action sooner. When a candle sets the curtains on fire, you dont wait to call the fire department. You take action immediately. I just hope we get a 2nd chance.

The Consent Order expired about two years ago.
The pubbies at all levels, national, state, county, congressional (HOR) district, municipal, local voting district, have been painfully slow to respond to this, meaning, the new lack of restrictions, after decades of self-imposed impotence.
They need to be about trying to regain their sea legs. Crawling, walking, then running. But RINOs and stealth Dems wedged into every crack and crevice of the party apparatus are extremely active and are probably deliberately perpetuating the republican’s hobbled lifestyle and pathetic existence, unless and until they can manage to clear the Bad Orange Man and his supporters out of the GOP’s digestive system.
I’m Albertan. Pretty embarrassing if we have to come kick it off for you.
