"...and winds that negatively impact battery range." Yep...seems to be a lot of hot air when it comes to EVs.

Averaged less than 22 miles an hour. Seniors in Florida drive faster than that for God’s sake. If he was on major highways he posed a threat to other drivers

Gosh, I wonder how well it works when it gets bitterly cold and there’s snow on the roads - as happens in Wyoming.

Those EVs are crap and not ready for prime time.

A Nissan Leaf is a city running errands car with a range of only 50 miles. The guy is an idiot!

No way would any sane person travel around Wyoming in an electric car. Even regular old gas stations can be many miles apart. Plus the constant wind, changeable weather, unpredictable snow squall problems are magnified by an electric car.

Well, it points up problems with range of travel with electric cars.
As of now, electric cars can make sense if you drive short distances around town. For road trips or longer distances driven, they just don’t make good sense as of now.
Which points up that the technology just isn’t there. For states such as Calif. to decree that gas and diesel vehicles are to be phased out, makes no sense. The technology hasn’t developed to the point where it is reasonable to outlaw the internal combustion engine.

I have driven across Wyoming. Many times we didn’t see a car for hours.

Those EVs are crap and not ready for prime time. Maybe in a couple of decades, but not now. Same as it ever was. The problems that plagued them last century are still with us.
EV MasterGatorBater will soon set upon us to put our minds at ease, that EV's are great, the bestest transportation ever.

The article doesn’t say why it took him 15 hours to drive 178 miles? What was causing the guy’s problems?

Choosing a Leaf to drive around Wyoming seems intentionally stupid.
