Not seeing how you can take a break from FR, what with me stalking you and peering into your windows, following your car, noting your movements, installing cameras throughout your residence, putting microphones in your trees, sending delivery persons who are actually trained spies, monitoring your bank accounts and your trades, and coopting your neighbors to report your movements and activities.
Just sayin’.

I am taking a break from FR for the next 117 seconds.
I'm hunkering down in my red enclave here in one of the reddest counties in Texas. I'm going to bbq my ribeyes, take my cruises, and let the blue cities shoot it out amongst themselves.

Once, four years ago when I was 85, I took a 12-hour break from FR...
I returned totally refreshed and ready to rejoin the ongoing battle with communism in America...
I too am leaving FR.
I’ll be back Wednesday.
I think post Trump announcement all of these TDS freaks will calm down. Wednesday is good.
And we'll all appreciate that.

Your thread here has revealed how many other people are unhappy about the daily news, discouraged about the elections and deeply affected by the loss of our Republic to the barbarians.
In 2017 I was glad to retire and finally be away from the daily torment from my bosses and job. I somehow suffered through it and if my precious wife hadn’t suddenly died at home this year (I loved her since 1973) this depressing life in America wouldn’t have been nearly this bad. But I’m alone and that matters. No kids or grandkids and I actually don’t like being around people (some agoraphobia on my part).
FR is a point of contact in my lonely life and a source of knowledge sharing where I learn things every day.
We will miss you and I look forward to your changing your mind and returning. But whatever makes you happy, do it.
