Did you ever wonder what it would be like to live under communism? Well, now you know.
The last two years have seen a parade of dumb and dumber policies, the kind you expect in totalitarian dictatorships. The distinguishing traits are as follows: rulers show contempt for their serfs; policy wonks concoct endless stream of counterproductive ideas; and casual cruelty hurts everyone, day after day. Here are a dozen examples.
Think back to Biden's decision to shut down the pipeline bringing petroleum from Canada. Could anything be more irrational than shutting down a functioning pipeline, thus causing higher prices for everyone (and giving Putin the money he needed to invade a neighbor)?
Then we had the president wandering around foreign countries begging for their petroleum. Millions of Americans knew for the first time what a totalitarian society feels like. The top guy is nuts, and there's nothing you can do about it.
During the same period, Dr. Fauci gave us a fabulously disruptive epidemic...

I received a taste of Marxism under bathhouse Barry, and it was hell on earth.
Communists Dems are becoming more successful now that they have control of the vote.
The Communist oligarchs think so little of the citizenry that they intentionally put ignorant people in government positions including the president and vice president, starting with Obama, Jao Bai-din, Kamala Harris, and the white house press idiot.
We see the least amount of incompetence on display when human organizations have to compete with one another in achieving their goals and where success in achieving such goals is determined by consumers in large numbers (as in non-monopolistic free-markets).
That said, there will always be a fight between those who favor representative government and those who want dictatorship and/or totalitarian government. It seems that what humans lack in competence, they make up for in greed.
The Biden administration is a resurrection of Romania’s Ceausescu regime, although with the backing of the CCP. I have serious doubts that this ends well for anyone.

And thus we are only at the beginning of the snowball avalanche.
Maybe elected representatives should be on commission - they more successful they are in keeping spending and regulation under control, the more money they make. The rep who successfully stops a trillion dollar Build Back Boondoggle in its tracks deserves a ten million dollar commission - no problem.
We need to throw more cash at elected officials to compete with the looters and their lobbyists. And the prospect of compensation equivalent to free market levels might even attract better quality people into government service:)
I like it! It’s a small price to pay.
The communists have now succeeded in controlling our elections in key states allowing them to control Congress and the White House. Next will be a disarming of America. Sadly I have concluded that soon the only means left to restore our Republic is a revolution much like the French Revolution complete with all its excesses.
