Don't fall for another Jan. 6–style trap!
American Thinker ^ | 19 Mar, 2023 | Nick Lopez

Trump to be arrested? Don't go out and protest. There are other, safer, more constructive things you can do.

President Trump has stated that he will be arrested on Tuesday and we should all take to the streets.

Don't do it!

Stay home, and let the lawyers handle it.

This is a set-up, just like January 6. Don't fall for it.

Don't go anywhere near a federal building, don't stand with groups of people you don't know, and don't send threatening emails.

Stay home, and let the lawyers deal with it. President Trump has good lawyers, he has great lawyers...he even has had Alan Dershowitz as a lawyer.

Trials are meant to be won, by rich people. President Trump is rich. Let him fight his battle. He has proven more than capable.

It's okay to be angry about things. And we are supposed to have the right to protest peacefully. However, they will sabotage that right. They will inject fake bad actors for the express purpose of charging you with a crime.

This will be an attempted Charlottesville and January 6 mass-arrest false flag operation.

Sometimes the best response is no response at all.

Nope. Go out and exercise your rights. Fearful of arrest? What sort of freedom is that? The next wave of arrests should be met with armed resistance.

Actually, buy a burner phone at the local grocery store or drug store, and remember to recycle it after the demonstration.

If you’re too afraid to protest, then you’ve surrendered.

Trump in his ambiguous way, was calling for protests over the destruction of the country, no necessarily over his looming arrest (though he probably wants to give the Soros hireling something to ponder).

The advice in the post is sound, but the message is sickening. The DemComs have convinced Americans that they cannot engage in peaceful political protest without being set up for arrest and ruin. People who used to be free and have civil rights now must cower down and self-censor to survive. When protest is foreclosed as an effective option, what is likely to happen? The Manhattan DA had better watch his back — he might be the tyrants’ Kirov.

This is the time for good mental rehearsal of what we will do. It is a step of the preparation process. I encourage all the read the following and let your lips move.

https://sheepdogenterprises.com/on-sheep-wolves-and-sheepdogs-dave-grossman/

There is nothing morally superior about the sheepdog, the warrior, but he does have one real advantage. Only one. And that is that he is able to survive and thrive in an environment that destroys 98 percent of the population. There was research conducted a few years ago with individuals convicted of violent crimes. These cons were in prison for serious, predatory crimes of violence: assaults, murders and killing law enforcement officers. The vast majority said that they specifically targeted victims by body language: slumped walk, passive behavior and lack of awareness. They chose their victims like big cats do in Africa, when they select one out of the herd that is least able to protect itself.

Those democrats are good. They successfully stopped the challenges to the electoral votes AND made all conservatives too scared to protest. Talk about a successful operation. Their 1/6 plan worked to absolute perfection. Criticize them all you want, but that was genius.

Correct. Even over two years later, we are being urged to just stay home and sit on our hands, while the Democrats finish taking over the country, lest we be "lured into a trap".

They have us MAGA types cowering in a corner and pleading for mercy. Much like the good Germans were back in the 1930s as Hitler and his stormtroopers obtained total and complete power (our J6 was their Reichstag Fire).

This is likely not to end well.

Understand your anger and frustration, but this is nothing like the Revolution (note my name…that is exactly why it is).

This is a single item about a man and maybe campaign money. It is not even about possible election fraud.

This is not the hill to die on.

Now, when some MIL unit (which FR generally venerates as infallible) comes out and starts to collect our guns, then you can stand up seriously and oppose it with arms. Though notice how it was a standoff, and a dare, that broke into combat.

Even if protesting is ok here, as stated, you will likely be sabotaged by commies. So this over a man’s possible campaign violation is not the hill to die on.

Pick your battles wisely.

I now believe there is no plan to arrest Trump. Get the story out there, but say the DA backed down because of “Death Threats”, which will further the narrative about how dangerous Trump is.

Trump may have fallen for the trap.

Yes, I wonder that too. Some here made some cogent points that it is not going to happen…but hoping Trump fans will fall into the trap.

You know...for years we are all told to just boycott or get out and vote and be a poll worker or poll watcher or don’t travel to that state or this state and where has all that gotten us? I don’t know about you but I don’t think it has gotten us anywhere. What do we really do now?

Remember when Paul Revere rode through the countryside yelling “stay home stay home, it’s a trap!”

Remember when Paul Revere rode right into the British camp yelling "The British are coming"? That is because he watched himself, unlike some of the J6 protesters who walked into a trap.

I am not recommending to stay home, just watch out for traps.

“I would not protest in DC, but if I did then I would stay away from the Capitol building and White House.”

This makes sense. I won’t even drive through a state where I can’t legally have in the car the kind of weapon I might need. I would not visit California under any circumstances unless I was a missionary sent there by Himself, or ordered to go there by military authorities (if I were in the military.)

There are some risks I’m not willing to take just for the fun of it.

I live in a Red county in a Red state so if I want to hold up a Go Trump or Stop Biden sign I can without testing the limits of my courage.

When threatened with arrest in the sixties, civil rights protesters responded defiantly, “we ain’t scared of your jails.” Sadly, by contrast, conservatives are now petrified with fear, like rabbits in front of a boa constrictor.

The "civil rights protesters" likely weren't people with middle-class jobs, professional licenses, and mortgages which would be affected by prosecution for "insurrection".

For them, getting jailed in a civil-rights protest would be a career enhancement, rather than a career-ending event.
