Professor labels Target boycotters ‘domestic terrorists’

LGBTQ organizations can threaten and make demands, but no others can? Ah, I see.

A University of Michigan professor referred to boycotts, and other threats against ultra-woke big-box retailer Target as a form of literal terrorism in a recent interview on MSNBC. The retail giant recently shed more than $9 billion in market value since it rolled out an extensive LGBTQ Pride collection of apparel and accessories, some aimed at toddlers and babies. After it was revealed that the stores sold LGBTQ-themed onesies for babies, children's books advocating for drag queen shows, and "tuck-friendly" bathing suits, the Minneapolis-based retailer’s value dropped 12% in just one week. It didn’t help that it turned out a few of the items were designed by an avowed Satanist.

Nonetheless, the pushback against Target’s assault on the sensibilities of a great many of its customers prompted Justin Wolfers, a professor of public policy and economics at the University of Michigan, to appear on MSNBC’s “The 11th Hour” and state:

"One of two things are true. It could be [Target] are cowards and they use that as protection and a smokescreen so they could make a cowardly decision, or it could be that they are actually genuinely concerned about the well-being of their employees and they have had credible threats. If that is the case, when Target caves into this, then it says that the moment you threaten the employees of even a very large corporation, you get to control its policies. This is economic terrorism, literally terrorism, creating fear among the workers and forcing the corporations to sell the things you want, not sell the things you don't."

Anyone who stands up to the Communist Party is a terrorist. Any terrorist who attacks America is a freedom fighter to the insane left.

Boycotts are about the only safe way to protest for conservatives. I’m surprised that they are working as well as they are.

Forcing business to sell the things you want not the things you don’t want.

Really? This is a professor and he doesn’t realize that’s ever business ever?

Burning down neighborhoods is peaceful protests to these people.

They lie knowingly or are insane.

Of course, they do. Parents trying to protect their children at school board meetings are also labeled as domestic terrorists. As is anyone who opposes the groomers’ agenda.

They can’t reproduce so they must recruit by poisoning the minds of children.

Butt hurt economics signal a dynamic consumer shift. Shop where you want, don’t shop were you would rather not. Seems pretty basic.

IMHO it’s not forcing a corp to change, it’s working towards making certain corporations to go away.

If successful and these corps go away, they will surely regroup, and if they have a clue... adjust their business model along with the corporate name and logo.

Not buying from Target, domestic terrorist

Not in favor of lewd drag queen events with small children, domestic terrorist

Not wanting to do something counter to your faith, domestic terrorist

Not going to Disney anymore, domestic terrorist

Voting anything other than democrat, domestic terrorist

Upset at the invasion of our southern border, domestic terrorist

Own a firearm, domestic terrorist

Believe socialism is dangerous to a free society, domestic terrorist

Homeschooling your kids, domestic terrorist

Not believing in global warming, domestic terrorist

The label lost meaning once the childish left began to use it for anything they dislike.
