They won’t get the new legislation through until at least one criminal got his just reward. Perhaps the California legislature with their upcoming law about not stopping criminals in the commission of a crime should be next on the list for the treatment that criminal got for attempting to rob a store.

At first I wondered why they just let him walk out of the store, but then I remembered it was CA, and that is exactly what the police would have done. So a call to the police would have been useless.
