Flashback: Russia Invites Hamas Leaders for Kremlin Visit
Haaretz.com ^ | March 14, 2023 | Jack Khoury

The Gaza-based Hamas militant group received an official invitation to Moscow from Russia on Tuesday morning, the deputy head of Hamas's political bureau Saleh al-Arouri confirmed in an official party interview.

Commenting on the recent wave of Palestinian attacks and Israeli military raids in the West Bank, al-Arouri warned that "Israeli attempts to use the [upcoming Muslim holiday of] Ramadan to change the status-quo on Al-Aqsa [Temple Mount] will result in a furious Palestinian reaction." He also reiterated that Hamas's "patience is running out".

Russia and Hamas have long enjoyed ties, and visits by the group are not unprecedented, with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh visiting the Kremlin back in September.

For its part, Israel has cautiously maneuvered its fragile ties with the Kremlin ever since Moscow's invasion of Ukraine, refusing Ukraine's requests for air defense systems and other forms of military assistance due to its concern that alienating Moscow could endanger Israel’s freedom of action in Syria.

But when then-Prime Minister Yair Lapid joined a chorus of states to vote to suspend Russia from the United Nations Human Rights Council, Moscow began to sharpen its criticism of Israeli actions vis-a-vis the Palestinians. "There was a poorly camouflaged attempt to take advantage of the situation in Ukraine to distract the international community’s attention from one of the oldest unsettled conflicts – the Palestinian-Israeli one," Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in April of last year.

Putin's fingerprints are all over this morning's attacks in Israel.

Another more recent flashback, on September 13, 2023, just three weeks ago:

Russia’s Lavrov meets with Hamas politburo chief Haniyeh in Moscow

Coincidence?

In another incredible coincidence, October 7 (today) is Putin's birthday.

People complain about supporting Ukraine. Russia is on the opposite side of every issue from America. They are and have been trying to hurt America anywhere in the world, and in America. This has been going on since, probably, the end of WWII. It is a long running, pernicious campaign to undermine America and Americans anywhere and anytime. Imagine what life would be like if this wasn’t going on.
Back in the 1980’s the classified project I was on got a briefing from the FBI on Russian activities. We were shown checks made out to cash to dozens of gay groups. Any group that made the papers got a cash donation. Small groups got, say $500. But large groups that carried out demonstrations could get $5000. There were a lot of enterprises being subsidized, the object of which was to damage the American family. Abortion was one issue they were putting propaganda and money behind.

The war in Ukraine was the biggest mistake Russia has made. If we want to stop, or at least stymie Russian interference in American life, we have to use this opportunity to damage them so much they can’t afford run their propaganda anymore.

Think of how much more peace and prosperity there would be in the world if it weren’t for Russian Mafia style meddling in every country and every continent.

I’m not saying America is right on every issue. Afterall, we periodically have an idiot running the place. But a lot of what those idiots do is in response to the evil perniciousness piloted by the Russians. I think without the Russians our idiots would only be messing around with mostly economic weapons rather than kenetic ones.

“Think of how much more peace and prosperity there would be in the world if it weren’t for Russian Mafia style meddling in every country and every continent.”

Wow!!!

Think about how much peace and prosperity there would be in the world if it weren’t for Chinese Mafia style meddling in every country and every continent.

Or, think about how much peace and prosperity we had under Trump.

Or, think about how much peace and prosperity there would be in the world if it weren’t for Victoria Nuland meddling in every country and every continent.

Or, think about the misery Biden has inflicted on this country and the world.

Or, think about the misery the globalists have inflicted on this country and the world.

Sometimes it is necessary to pull your head out of your ass.

As long as we remain invested in and supportive of forever wars, we shall have forever wars and all the unpleasant consequences that come with the money being made on armaments.

LOL. Angry emotion? Dude, I’m not mad that Israel and Hamas wants to beat the crap out of each other. More power to them. I’m just saying stop placing your insecurities on strawmen like Putin.
