Good, now turn entire Gaza strip into a friggin ginormous pile of rubble.
I’ve been watching war porn today and it seems in most cases it is only taking one bomb/missile to take down an entire building. Larger buildings two or three. It’s almost like watching the professional demolition of buildings after placing explosives throughout the building. Must be either very effective bombs or very poor construction.
It would be interesting a MOAB used.
I see that as a distinct possibility and the US is helping on that score at the very least with intelligence.

Yes, experienced military battle strategists have been discussing urban warfare and if IDF is trained in such,and losses that will be incurred, that will take place when IDF troops put boots on the ground.
With advent of small drones, not sure they must rely so heavily with ground assault. At some point it will be necessary, but small drones give shot at source of rockets and at least give GPS coordinates. Tune smart bombs on to GPS and poof goes another one.
It takes time to get things ready for an invasion against a well prepared adversary.
In the meantime, Gaza is without electricity, food, fuel and probably water so things are going to get tough for the people on the street.
The goal here is to divide the people from Hamas which is not unrealistic.
Hamas are thugs who oppress the people of Gaza way more than Israel ever has.
The worse things get, the less support Hamas will have.
FWIW, didn't see the massive street celebrations you normally see in Gaza after an attack on Israel.

Fair enough but if the boots don’t go in I and like 9/11 it was tough talk and go into Afghanistan but in the end it was boots out.

Gaza shares a border with Egypt. It is a small part of Egypt in Israel, basically. After the Yom Kipper War, Israel kept Gaza and settled it. In a misplaced “land for peace” effort Ariel Sharon (not to be confused with his cousin Arial) gave the Palestinians Gaza as a homeland in 2006. Egypt, wisely, wants nothing whatsoever to do with Palestinians.

“Back in the day”, the LORD instructed the Israelites to do exactly this, several times, and they frequently disobeyed him and did only a partial job.
Now we’re all paying the price for their disobedience.

MOABs are probably ineffective, the max overpressure is relatively low. All you need to take out tunnels is a firehose dipped in the Mediterranean at one end, and a pump at the entrance on the other. Flood ‘em.
Israel has to seal the Gaza Strip off from reporters, outside agencies and take total control of the air sea and land space.
Controlling the narrative is just as important as the military operations.
DeSantis nailed it this morning...he said Israel will go into Gaza and start kicking ass and doing what needs to be done...then the U.N. and the media will start whining and crying about how terrible Israel is...there will be mass condemnation and then Israel will back off....same old garbage over and over.
