OH NO! VOC’s or “volatile organic compounds” is a leading component of most paints. must have been a LOT of painting going on 50’000 years ago. see what happens when you paint over everything?

sort of like observing "wobbling stars" and declaring that they are distant solar systems with planets
"show me the theory, I'll show you the data"...LOL ,
sort of like this fantasy of "evolution" with zero evidence, but its settled science
The article doesn’t define “organic” so here is the definition, from the American Chemical Society:
“Organic chemistry is the study of the structure, properties, composition, reactions, and preparation of carbon-containing compounds. “
If the article was written exclusively for chemists, then this omission is excusable. But it wasn’t. The article was written for the general public, so the omission is irresponsible.
“Organic” just means they contain carbon.

Well, there are plenty of simple organic compounds called “tholins” that exist on the outer moons. So any more complex organic materials probably just formed from a reaction with those.
Too many words like possibly, could, consistent with, appears, suggests, help, would,...puts report in the realm of fantasy, conjecture.
Possibly aliphatic aldehydes? Simple salts? Wow...amazing discovery.
Hmmm…fossil fuels?
Don't say that too loudly, all the rubes paying hyperinflated prices for "organic" groceries might become suicidal.
