One of my favorite movies. I'm just of world news. Extended lunch and it came on. Excellent movie. They wasted like 8 Mustangs.

Music score by Lalo Schifrin, who also wrote the themes to Mannix and Mission Impossible

First thing that comes to mind is the green โ68 Mustang. Iโve had three Mustangs so far. Second thought, Steve McQueen.was a really cool guy, on screen in Wanted Dead or Alive, offscreen rearing cArs. Has an interesting life story.

I do believe Bullitt was the inspiration for the Dirty Harry flicks.
Then there’s the video of him dancing at the WH with the daughter of LBJ.
Mr. Roper and Robert Duvall are in it.

I miss the old days of drunken FReeper posts.
Iโve got to remember to do this more often too.
You rock.
Yes, great movie!

Next time you watch this movie count the number of times the green (I think) VW bug appears and the weather changes.

You beat me to it. Lalo is great. Just recently I read that they were editing the movie and got to a he famous car chase scene and were asking him what kind of music he would add there. He said absolutely none itโs perfect the way it is. Thatโs why you have 11 minutes of engines roaring in what people call the best movie car chase ever. Lalo was a genius

There is one Mustang jump, going downhill, where they bottomed so hard that the oil pan was ripped open. You can watch it happen.
It's the one where the shot was looking up hill, and the Charger was turning left at the bottom of the scene.

The dirty, Harry movies were based on a book written by Harry and Julian Fink
