They may be our "best friends" but dogs have also emerged as a major threat to wildlife.

Scientists say they have contributed to the extinction of nearly one dozen wild bird and animal species.

As such, they have become the third worst human-introduced predators after cats and rats.

Now dogs are said to threaten nearly 200 species worldwide, some of which are critically endangered, studies suggest.

We have tons of red tail hawks where we are.
We never let our 6 pound dog in the back yard unless one of us is out there.

Cue the FR dog haters. I never trust anyone who hates dogs. When I find out they are like you, I avoid them like they have the worst plague known to man.

Can’t trust a man who doesn’t like dogs. Act accordingly.

“I avoid them “

Thank you. I wish other dog owners were as thoughtful as you and realize not everyone is interested in having their filthy animals forced on us.

“Muslims hate dogs too.“

I believe Muslims simply believe dogs are dirty animals and should not be kept inside the house, which is true.

But of course Adolf Hitler loved dogs - was one of the “dogs are better than human beings” crowd so prevalent in today’s declining western countries.

I recall watching a bald eagle trying to get a duck sitting on the water. The eagle was in a tree and as soon as it swooped down the duck would dive. As the eagle went back to its perch the duck surfaced.

They did this 4 or 5 times.

On the sixth time the eagle swooped, the duck dove. Instead of going back to its perch the eagle did a small loop and grabbed the duck as soon as it surfaced. It was pretty amazing.

I wondered if the eagle had just figured that move (and the timing) out - or if it had used that move previously.
