I can understand and accept why he believes these things.

He may well be correct on most of the points. I think he is quiet wrong on #6 and China knows it.

He should NOT have invaded Ukraine. It is only hastening the eventual dissolution of the Russian state as we know it.

There was a long live thread about what was going on in Ukraine during the “Maidan protests”. Including what Ukraine was doing in the Donbass regions.

You are incorrect about your assessment of the situation between Ukraine and Russia. The Ukraine military was waging war on civilians in the eastern Russian speaking regions, and the leaders of those regions asked Putin to help them.
