I need advice and protection, because I get stalked and tracked daily in Southern California.
The counter I would offer is that stalkers can stalk the wrong person by mistake.
It could be a family dispute (like child custody, for example) where perhaps private investigators have been hired.
Do you know a cop or anyone who does? Give the plate numbers to said cop and see if he or she is willing to 'run them' for you and look for connections, associations and/or criminal records.
My favorite conversation with security guards is to ask them where they go to smoke.

Motive: the main Hispanic lady stalker, age 40, started daily stalking last year, because she is desperate, uses me as a drug, and imagines being my wife in my house. No, I do not know the stalker. No previous interactions. Yes, multiple vehicles and very sophisticated. My friend said, How does she know where you live? Well, she knows when I take a shower, use the restroom at night, where I sit in church, the location of my mother’s apartment and the location of my uncle 100 miles away. It is full on stalking. I talked to Police Sergeant Jan 15. I shall talk to the Commander in a few days. I live in a gated community and talked to security 5x. The Chief is Hispanic and looks the other way. A junior Hispanic security guard and some Hispanic police know my main stalker and help her. Very twisted. Yes, police want license plates. Good idea: get truck number from fourth photo above. I have a therapist, since this is stressful. Many cars means many people involved. Stalking is a sport for some people and common. Yes, the Lord tells me to relax, He alone can fix it, He started this storm and will stop it, and wants me to watch and trust Him. Yes, Jeff Chandler has excellent advice. Persevero, I accept. However, this is serious stalking, since mentally I am healthy as you can see by my comments. Yes, trust friends help from my men’s prayer group.
1. You have to be ready for what they say about you. Being security guards, they will be able to say something, true or not to justify their actions.
2. Get a CCW license in California?? Depending on what the stalkers say, there is a good chance they will use the application against you. Self defense in California? Maybe somewhere in Northern Califorrnia, but Southern California? You might be better off to take whatever beating or other physical violation they plan for you, than getting something worse in prison after you defend yourself with a weapon.
3. Why are you living in California where you have no rights?
4. If you are serious, see a lawyer. Let the lawyer send letters asking why these people are doing what they are doing. Get better pictures before you go. Surely you or someone you know has a camera with a telephoto lens, for example. Get pictures of them and their tag numbers. Paying a lawyer now is better than paying one later if you get in trouble for doing something youurself.
If it was me I would use the “friendly dog” approach suggested in an earlier post.
That means being very calm and relaxed when reporting license plates to the police.
If you act stressed they are likely to think you are crazy—but if you are friendly and relaxed they are much more likely to take your seriously.
My approach to the cops would be:
“I would appreciate it if you could take a look at these license plates. These vehicles seem to be following me but I am thinking they are probably looking for someone else and it is a case of mistaken identity. Anything you can share would be really great.”
Super low key, super relaxed.
Why act like a frightened Karen?
Walk up to their vehicle with your cell phone camera recording them and ask them why they are stalking you.
If they take off get their license plate number and file a complaint with the police just to get it on record.
Can you come up with a reason that so many different people would spend time and energy stalking you?
If you think it’s about your money, you must have enough to hire a private detective to run it down.
1. Get their license plate number.
2. Find out where they live.
3. Post the information on the internet.
4. The problem will be taken care of.

Thank you. Getting a lawyer is an excellent idea. I have one who is updated with this stuff. Telephoto lens is a good idea. Why do I cower and back away? Because I am not trained in self-defense and one sheriff told me to not get involved. Yes, I should be more assertive when they are parked next to me and staring at me. Why so many with the energy to stalk me? It’s a sport. One Sheriff told me is common here in So Cal. I talked to a private eye last week and he said I have all my bases covered, since the local Sergeant has many photos like the four above. I shall ask the private eye to help more.
Does anyone in your current or past life have a reason to want to do this?
Ex-wife, ex-girlfriend, bad business deal?
Random stalking can happen but it is less likely than personal motivations.

You’re involved already my friend. Be prepared to fight like your life depends on it. Dig deep.
Other than the security guards who would appear to be doing their jobs it would appear that you could be mistaking normal people doing normal activities as stalkers.
My recommendation here is since you have a camera that you document these events. If the same people or vehicles keep showing up at different places then take your documentation and go to the police with it.
If you keep seeing these people but only in the same places all the time then they may be perfectly innocent.
