I need advice and protection, because I get stalked and tracked daily in Southern California.
You and your mom each live in a apartment at a gated apartment complex (gated community) with on site, roving security.
Talk to your apartment complex manager of your concerns.
If the manager listens buts does not give any feed back or solution, then you are the deplorable they wish to find dirt/violation(s) upon to take action to remove either you or your mom for lease termination.
2 trucks with 4 guys in each truck, stop and have a friendly conversation with them.

Just shows you how messed up this is. I took time out to do some house work, read and nap and come back to find that people believe this is a woman talking. Talk about weird!!!!
This person thinks ALL the advice he’s getting is super - he’s sure getting a lot of attention, isn’t he? Why do you suppose that is? Someone posted something about mental health - that is what is needed!
I believe that would be quicker than obtaining a carry permit.
Thank you. Yes, a private investigator will be worth every penny. Move? Tough. I am taking care of elderly family members. Good advice: fully documented, calm evidence. Dash cam, body cam, private investigator, tell family and friends. I’m not fearful of the stalkers, just annoyed that they won’t stop. I think they are trying to impress me with their stalking skills which are good. I’d rather have a buddy to travel with me than a dog, simply to confirm what I see. I know the stress of grad school but this is different. No, I don’t know these people and they are like bees hovering around when I go somewhere. One sheriff told me to ignore them and they would go away. That was November 2022. It’s demonic, since they won’t go away. No robberies, just honks at night, early morning, during the day and yes, police sirens. Some Hispanic police ladies also enjoy stalking. Why? Stalking is a sport for third worlders. Yes, I’ve complained to community security 5x and no, they are not upset with me, just confused. Gas station, coffee shop, bank, church: like bees wherever I go. Alarming. Yes, a myriad of motives. Yes, I suspect Federal authorities, since the stalking is successful. I met a priest from Romania in 1990 and he was nervous the way I feel now. Moving? I need a witness protection program. Yes, my community security are not helpful and not sure what to do. I need the attention, because I need the expert advice here for one day. I’ll follow up this week on all points.
Please do not assume that the victim of irrational behavior is the irrational one. People, especially since the lockdown, are abnormally crazy these days. I was stalked by a young woman (I am an old woman) for no rational reason for two years, and it is not fun.
If there is an actual dispute between parties, in former days you can take them to court and have it sorted out. But if someone is crazy, there is a lot of danger from escalating, so I understand why this poster may be hesitating.
And with the cutbacks in policing and the indoctrination and DEI the cops are forced to go through, lots of luck making any kind of complaint against any person of any description whatsoever except a white Christian male.
It may take a lawyer or some kind of community relations person to help this poster, and I hope she finds some proper allies.

I’m sorry I couldn’t jump on the wagon about the thread as I believe the guy really needs mental help and not from FR. Nothing wrong with trying to help out a fellow FReeper but that guy was beyond any help that we could give him IMO. Everyone gave him advice and he accepted it all but it didn’t seem to penetrate - just agreed with everything. Didn’t answer the questions about HOW he knew this person knows all about him without having met the person and on and on. Those seemed to go over his head. Too bad and hope he gets real help.
If you read some of falcon’s other posts you can see that there is some irrationality going on. I did not however merely assume. I suggested he have someone he knows and trusts stay with him for a few days to help him

Sadly with bad paranoia, what often happens is that you enlist someone to help you assess and if they think there is no threat they become part of the Conspiracy. This happened to me for example a lady who is convinced she is covered with tiny spiders. When she asks me about them and I say I just don’t see them I do not think they are there she thinks I am in on the big con. So I hope that if there is indeed paranoia going on, that falcon can find someone he trusts and then trust their feedback m
The thread is not about you or your ostensible expertise. You are not helping; you are trying to sell us on how knowledgeable you believe you are at the expense of someone else’s discomfort. Stop it.
Your assessment is certainly different than mine. Several statements of falcon’s are inconsistent from where I sit. He could still be in trouble. But the people he is going to don’t seem to think so. Are they all in on a big conspiracy?
If anyone finds themselves driven by fear and can’t convince their priest or police etc that someone is stalking them - and offers proof of several cars which may well contain people eating their lunch or chilling on their phones - to bring up to them that paranoia is a possibility is not unkind. We all need to consider whether our fears are rational. Sometimes they are.
I have no ostensible expertise. I am just a fellow human who has interacted with miserably paranoid people before.
I don’t plan on stopping commenting when I see fit. This is an opinion forum. I hope falcon gets someone he trusts to assess the threat with him. Sounds like the priest and security guards and police don’t see an issue. Unless they are all in on a big conspiracy, paranoia is a definite possibility. And telling the truth with kindness and reassurance is the kindest thing to do in that case.

This covert surveillance thing is what is deploying the Havana syndrome. They actually have hit me with it, as well as several other people on my site.
It appears it is a criminal splinter group in our intelligence services which is taking over the US. Everything you see tracks back to them, from election rigging, to even 9/11, which if you have seen the domestic surveillance, you will know, had to have seen 9/11 coming a mile away, and at least allowed it, and maybe even set it up to enhance their surveillance authority.
Hang tough, something big is coming. They appear to be afraid of it, whatever it is. And feel free to post about it on my news briefs.
Oddly enough, I will guarantee you, there is a local division of this operation set up in your neighborhood, and they have accumulated transcripts form inside your house. Somebody thought it was a good idea to recreate the East German Stasi in the US, and they have set up in every neighborhood, just like the Stasi was in every apartment building, and their mandate is to “get to know” everyone. THey even run their kids in the local schools, building files on the other kids. The one which was next door to me was discussing it with another surveillance kid in front of my house. It is coming out in the future. You will be blown away.
