I think it was called “Boy Toy”.
Needs to be happening at every level. School Boards. Town Councils. Whatever Commission or Committee is advocating for this and other destructive ideologies. Call out evil, taking no prisoners. As with this speaker, it needs to be delivered calmly but firmly. No badgering or questioning the marxists. Note he didn’t raise his voice. Just simply state opinion and fact, so that everyone can witness them losing their s*** when called out for what they are and what they are doing. Loved that they had to have a ‘recess’... Oh, the horror of free speech! Where are my smelling salts!
If you want people to change you dont antagonizes them. But he was not seeking change, so he chose to expose the evil through insult & humiliation.
Well guess what beta boy, that's what free speech is all about. Sometimes it offends! Man up!
We may disagree with the tactics this man used in addressing the school board (and teachers) but I respect him for speaking up. More should.
Well how else to do it. The school board couldn't stand the truth.

Nope. This is the least savage argument imaginable. It’s just name calling and insults. There’s not any real argument offered against the book, even though there are likely too many actual arguments against the book to be counted. This is an empty rant that will persuade nobody, and society is worse off for this person speaking. No listener was persuaded, only insulted.
If you want to move society in a better direction, don’t be like the left (and Trump) and try to bully people into a corner with name calling. You CAN persuade them by showing them the inevitable negative consequences of rewarding failure and punishing success.
It’s frustrating for the right because the left always and only uses insults and bullying, never reason. Trump has tapped into this well-deserved frustration by returning the useless name-calling and attempts to bully, but nobody is persuaded or comes around to our camp with this, and society is dumber for it. Everyone who watched this YouTube video is worse off, no smarter or better informed about the (I’m reasonably sure) low value of this book. You should edit the headline to say “Least savage attempt to do anything in history. It’s a great example of what NOT to do, unless you are auditioning for “least persuasive or logical”.” This one is rated a hard FAIL.

Tell me why you oppose the book. My guess is that you, the grandpa in the video, and I all agree on why it’s a bad choice for a school. Or do you think calling me names will convince me?

Unrelated sidenote: what little I’ve read about Alinsky’s bio makes me think he couldn’t take dirty hard work, so he chose to whine about it.
I agree that 1984 should be required reading. The book at issue in the video was inappropriate for a school library because it deals with a topic that should be addressed and discussed in the home, not through the public school/government channel. Government has no role in that discussion, especially when presented in a school book where the parents are not involved and unaware of the potential for grooming and improper attempts to indoctrinate someone’s minor student.
No names called, no insults needed. Someone on the board might have inched away from the book with this kind of explanation. None were moved by grandpa.
