This phenomenon is the patriot paradox of rural America: The citizens who take such pride in their patriotism are also the least likely to defend core American principles. And by stoking rural Whites’ anger rather than addressing the hard problems they face, conservative politicians and talking heads create a feedback loop of resentments that are undermining American democracy.
Schaller and Waldman provocatively critique both the structures that permit rural Whites’ disproportionate influence over American governance and the prospects for creating a pluralist, inclusive democracy that delivers policy solutions that benefit rural communities. They conclude with a political reimagining that offers a better future for both rural people and the rest of America."

In order to “explore” the issue, they give it an inflammatory name: “white rage”. Then they proceed to insult in various ways, the group they mean to examine.
The purpose is clear:
1 - Confirm that it’s ok to hate white people. White people are the source of most problems.
2 - Incite members of the target group and hope that they do something stupid.
How can anyone undermine democracy when there is no such thing? And I’m not talking about the “constitutional republic” shibboleth. We’ve lived under an oligarchy for quite some time and this is the monster that rural whites are opposed to. Isn’t it a good thing that rural whites seek to undermine the oligarchic Deep State?
Yet for some reason black urban rage is off limits (all caused by racism!!)

The Threat to The American REPUBLIC
American Patriots are the threat to tyranny of Leftist LYING TERM, "democracy", which America is NOT.
The Left is the REAL threat to the America and her Free Constitutional Republic, the TRUE TERM the Left will NEVER use to describe America's true and legal character.
The Left LOVES unlimited government like we have now and HATES the Constitution and the de-centralized governance of our REPUBLIC, our bulwark of freedom, which the Left also hates.
Let's face it. The Left and their satanic minions HATE you and would like to kill you. That is what is really going on here. The spirit of antichrist continually attacking and trying to destroy those (us/we) in whom the Spirit of the Lord dwells. It is a spiritual battle and the battle is the Lord's. Let's get in agreement with Him and win this thing.
I am in the process of moving to a “white rural area” from a crowded suburban area where there are very few ‘white’ faces these days & the attitudes are generally sullen/hostile. Believe me, the white rural area is a breath of fresh air - virtually everyone is friendly, helpful, doesn’t mind stopping for a chat. If the grocery shelves go empty, almost everyone has room for a garden & a couple of chickens, plus there are larger beef & poultry farms, even a goat farm in the area. The white rurals won’t go hungry & we’re far enough away from the cities & their ‘burbs that when people flee due to no food, fuel, etc., we are far enough ‘out there’ that they won’t end up on our front porch.
I don’t see ‘rage’ unless you’re doing something like rustling cattle, stealing chickens, shooting someone’s hound.
Most of the food and fuel comes “white rural rage” country. Shame to have empty grocery shelves and empty gas pumps in the big cities.

This is true.
I went for a Sunday drive in the countryside and people were blocking the road. When I stopped I realized in was a bunch of enraged rural white people, had no idea what they were angry about.
Next thing I knew they pulled me out of the car and beat me with ax handles until I was dead.
So learn your lesson from me...don’t go on Sunday drives in the countryside or the white people will kill you.
