If you have never taken Ivermectin, this is probably a really good time to consider it. Parasites infect practically every animal on the planet, why would you think you are immune? Ever play with a kitten, puppy, pet a bird, swim in a lake, ocean, river or stream? Ever get a mosquito bite, eat something fresh out of the garden, or off a tree?

Lots of modern day plagues (cancer, arthritus, aches, pains, tumors, etc) can be traced back to parasites. When was the last time your MD even checked you for parasites? Have you ever been de-wormed in your lifetime?

Forget about cancer, viral or other benefits of Ivermectin or Fenbendazole; just consider the benefits of killing some parasites every year or two. Just food for thought

Pasta bugs are a PIA. My pantry became infested a few years ago. Had to throw everything out. Such a waste!

Figured out that Barilla pasta was one of the worst brands for this. Worldwide, apparently.

And for some reason, they really liked dry Coleman’s Mustard.

To stop the bugs from hatching, place the items in the freezer for two weeks when you bring them home................

I once opened a can of refried beans and upended it in a pot. There was a huge palmetto bug embedded upside down in the beans. It was probably in the can before it was filled.

That’s one of the reasons why country folk used to cook everything to death. To kill off the bugs in the parasites. My mom grew up on a depression farm, everything was cooked thoroughly including the meat. And I grew up kind of eating the same way.

Remember when people used to give Trump a bunch of crap about eating his meats well done? I understood where that comes from. That’s country.

I once had a pack of Winston cigarettes that had a live beetle packed inside. It was tiny, and dead, when I found it, but had burrowed around through most of the cigs, making them impossible to draw through.

No one said anything about the condition of the package or how long it had sat on the shelf. You would be surprised how weevils and other insects can eat their way through flimsy packaging.

Entoleter is a name I'd hoped to never see again after I left the corn wet mill.

We had 6 of them, I can't recall which model, but the rotor was about 3 foot in diameter.

they were normally problem-free, but the way they were installed in the building made them a nightmare to work on

We brought a rotor down for a pin change, and the guy who rebuilt it used 4 pins to keep the discs separated while pulling the old pins off. He forgot to remove one of the pins when he put it back together. When they started that machine back up the whole building started shaking.

I’ve always kept my flour and meal in the freezer. Will have to try that.

The best thing

Is radiation

It’ll stop salmonella

Maybe the safest

Chemical poisoning residue

Will kill you

Years ago

I worked in a kitchen

Some strawberries were unspoilable

Others wouldn’t last a day

Sugar bacteria ruined them

To my knowledge

All fruit - produce

Exported from Hawaii

Has to be radiated

Because the meditation fruit fly

Is prolific over here

Never thought about freezing

I thought

” don’t let the bed bugs bite you “

was supposed to be funny

Not anymore

Neat. I’ve heard of snakes, sometimes venomous, lurking in potted plant shipments. Free pet, with purchase.

We just called them “Bug Smashers”. Yes, at 15,000RPM a slight inmalance on the motor shaft is going to shake the house down. Then it becomes a SWECO Sifter without the isolation dampening spring coils.

One summer job I had was working at a plant that made spaghetti sauce for various national brands like Progresso and Newman’s Own ect. The process began by opening up these 55 gallon drums of tomato paste that came all the way from Israel. In any event the top 1 inch layer in every drum was a nasty green mold. The guy in charge had us scoop out most of it but quite a bit was just stirred in and would be in the final product. I couldn’t eat spaghetti for years afterward thinking of that. If you were to see what goes on in many food processing plants you might swear off processed foods forever.

There are actual FDA guidelines for many food products listing allowable % of critter parts and content in the packaging.

George Carlin enumerated these in a bit from the 70s.
