Britt, despite this week’s criticism, is considered a “rising star” in the Republican Party. She was the youngest woman elected into the upper chamber after getting sworn in last year.
The first-term senator is also thought to be in contention to be picked as former President Trump’s vice presidential pick. Trump praised her rebuttal, stating she distinguished herself and presented compassion for “women’s issues.”

“Is he that clever? Not sure.”
No, but he’s that cunning. And so are his ChiCom handlers.
At an August 2021 Trump rally, Mo Brooks said that we should put the 2020 election fraud behind us and look forward. For some odd reason Mo was repeating the uniparty talking point.
The crowd booed him and then Trump dropped him.
I lost interest the minute she started shilling for “women’s issues:.
Given the emotional outbursts and antics by women on both sides of the political divide I’ve lost confidence in an woman’s ability to participate in government effectively.
By being all dressed up in the kitchen? I think she was channeling Donna Reed.
Her cadence was weak and back down-ish.
It reminded me of a Mike Johnson/Turtle CR.
So she'll be the new Nikki Haley, then. 😖
Today...elevated to potential “VP material”.
Yesterday...all the FR clucking chickens were badmouthing her.
Sheesh...
she sounded like the woman on the commercial talking about abused animals
The leading Republican professionals were badmouthing her—she earned it:

Mo Brooks was a solid conservative. He disappointed Trump and was replaced by a moderate.
It’s the same story with Matt Rosendale (R-MT). A solid conservative who disappointed Trump and will be replaced by a moderate.
GOP Rep. Matt Rosendale drops re-election bid in Montana
“Rosendale is a member of the conservative Freedom Caucus and has caused some pain for GOP leadership in the House. He was one of a handful of Republicans who denied former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., the gavel over 15 rounds of votes at the beginning of this Congress — and angered Trump by ignoring his phone call on the House floor to get in line behind McCarthy.”
For Alabama, that was correct.
Yep!! I promised myself after voting for McCain, Mitt Romney, and as it turns out George W. Bush, that I would never compromise my values ever again, and hold my nose to vote for someone I knew would be harmful to my country. For example, if Trump was a Rino, and had Jesus as his running mate, I wouldn't bother voting...and vice-versa. Britt is unqualified to be 2nd in line to the Presidency. I won't be a part of putting her in that position.
She’s not ready for prime time, and if she has ANY affiliation with McConnell, then she’s poison.
Trump doesn’t need a Pence II embedded in his administration feeding information to the deep state.
Why?
No she isn’t. This is The Hill up to shenanigans.
Her “speech” was pathetic. A high school dopey ditz.
Yup.
“I’d sit home in November. I don’t want any part of that woman being a heartbeat away from the Presidency.”
I’m in that same mindset. Floating the name of today’s flavor-of-the-day bimbo as VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is absolutely insane!
Mo was booed by the Alabama crowd. He started yelling at them.
The Alabama voters then gave Mo a loss in the Alabama primary.
Apparently what Mo said wasn't correct for Alabama.
True, thanks for the correction.
