A Texas toddler died in the hospital after she was accidentally run over by an Uber driver as she walked in front of the car after a trip.
The incident took place on Sunday around 1pm in an apartment complex on Waverly Drive in Houston as two children and two adults were dropped off by an Uber.
An adult and a six-year-old exited the silver Volkswagen Atlas on the driver's side as the other adult stepped out from the passenger's side.
As they walked in front of the car, the toddler was seen steps behind before she walked in front of the vehicle and was hit by the driver, Muhammad Khan.
As Khan tried to break her free, the passengers who witnessed the horrid incident ran inside and came back out with a larger group who then attacked the driver.
He was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. No charges or arrests have been made but the incident is bein investigated, including the assault.
Video then shows the moments after the girl got pinned under the car, as some witnesses run to help and others come back with a large group of people who immediately start to hit Khan.
Several people pull him out of his car and repeatedly punch him.
Police said that family members were there at the time of the incident, but they had to inform the child's parents of what happened to her.
'I seen a baby on the ground bleeding with a bunch of people hollering. The first thing I said was just give me the keys because I don't want to wait on no ambulance,' a neighbor said.
The family managed to get the girl in the car and met an ambulance nearby and she was treated at a gas station.

Yeah definitely the fault of the adults that were with the child. But of course nobody takes responsibility. We have a third world society.
My guess is they already had a gofundme setup before the child was even in loaded into the ambulance.
The adults traveling with the child were at fault. Their family had no right, no legitimate grounds, to be attacking the driver. The adults with the child failed to take charge of her.
Everyone knows not to walk in front of a car unless it’s at a stop light.
Accident: Parent’s fault. 100%
Also the fault of the gang attacking the driver. They wasted precious time in saving the child.
When there is any possible chance of a small child being in the area I use the same level of care as when you start the prop on a small plane... I’m always especially careful in the parking lot at the grocery store..
I don’t yell prop of course, but I take great care.
White people run out and pick up the car off of the child. Feral americans beat up the only guy who can move the car off of her.

Funny how they identify the driver. But not the thugs who beat the driver.

That was my first thought as well.
Parents are such idiots these days. The number of parents I see walking along with kids trailing behind them is appalling. WATCH YOUR KIDS. It’s part of being a parent.
And the number of parents who let their kids charge out into parking lots is even worse. Parking lots are the most dangerous places going and instead of holding tier kids hands or carrying them, they let them run around where they feel like it.
I taught my kids from an early age to be careful in parking lots because the driver of the car is not very likely to see you.
And if it comes down to a showdown between the car and you, the car will win every time, and it won’t feel very good.
I remember one day my teenage sons both began running toward the other side of the parking lot to buy a snack. I yelled at them “How many times have I told you to NEVER run in the parking lot?”
A father with his two young sons told his kids, “See? Even big boys aren’t allowed to run in the parking lot.”

The internet is nothing but a cesspool of crap, rife with voyeurs too willing to offer their judgments based on what the internet shows them.
My mother taught her children to NEVER walk in front of a car or bus after being dropped off at anytime. Good advice.
Wise father. And good move on your part.
I used to also point out to my kids that the road kill had a run in with a car and lost.
