We should NEVER call it “gender-affirming care”. That is the exact opposite of what it is. Mutilation is not “gender-affirming”.
I think gender-affirming care would be getting psychological help to help a person accept the gender he or she was born with.
I know this was a News Blast and not your words, but I thought I’d take the opportunity to raise the issue here since it was in the Blast.
