Yeah,... those look like girls to me. Homely ones with no curves. An example of why I tuned out of popular music by 82-83.

I had enough of it I guess; had no interest in listening to songs of less than honorable lifestyles, sung by people that looked weird. I knew enough tunes and lyrics to certain love songs that made (and still make) me appreciate and adore my wife of over 45 years.

And I won’t listen to people trying to draw attention to themselves when performing gospel music. If I can’t step out, I ‘tune out’.

ahhh...the 80’s....somewhat of a mystery to me, but I do remember the best part - mostly big frizzy hair, large hoop earrings, short skirts\dresses and 5 inch CFM heels...
