Taxpayer funding should be stopped if the universities decide to be so biased as this.
The entire UC system is made up of federal land grants that are subject to conditions.
For decades, one of those conditions was ROTC on campus.
The UC pushed to get rid of that back in the early ‘60s, and now occupies that dirt with virtually no strings attached.
The strings can be reattched. Or the dirt can be repossessed by the Congress.
