I bet someone mad a lot of money off the design and installation. Probably had to grease a lot of politician skids to get it approved. Now they got a mess and probably a toxic contamination of the river. Madness.

So now they will take gas-powered boats out to fix it.

I don’t see the problem. In the video most of them are still aimed at the sky. /S

"The floating plant, built on the backwaters of Omkareshwar Dam..."

Well, if you're gonna have a floating solar farm, the reservoir behind a dam is probably the closest thing to controllable you're gonna find.

“But they can tell you what the weather is going to be like 100 years from now”

exactly ... utilizing chaos theory, weather scientists have mathematically proved that it’s impossible to predict the weather accurately past 72 hours ... so clearly the claim about predicting climate change is complete nonsense ..

Nowhere near the ocean. Inland river condtions were adequate for taking it out.

Yes. Very calm waters. And I was thinking it won't interfere with all the recreational boaters, but then I remembered it's India, they probably don't have many of those unless it's some mega-gazillionaire with a huge yacht.

It’s India so it’s not like the water was pristine.

Seen some of that thinking close-up where I live, too. They just completed(a few weeks/months ago) a rebuild on a solar array near where I live. Now this is an area where we can get serious summer storms such as hail & tornadoes. Well, the hail took out the solar( I think it was last fall). I’d be willing to bet it could easily happen again this year. Now I am wondering how many times will this thing need to be rebuilt & at what cost. I have never been able to find out what it costs to get on this system or what the repairs cost.

Exactly. I have no doubt it could be done, but...in an “unsubsidized” world, no way it would even be in the ball park.

I admit, I had to shake my head in disbelief that they would even try such a thing, but...that is typical of the insanity that the Climate Change Alarmists bring on.

If the “warmies” can modify the climate, why didn’t they stop the storm from happening?
