Both crimes were caught on security camera video, so our deliberations were pretty cut and dried. We returned guilty verdicts on both counts after 45 minutes.
The state and defense counsel loved to hear themselves speak and each side presented a mountain of evidence, so the trial lasted about a month. (Ugh!) The only evidence we looked at was the video. That's why we took so little time for deliberations.
If called again, I would report, despite the possibility of a lengthy trial.
No long term effects, but that might because there were no grisly crime scene photos.
Mine was quick also. Only a simple burglary by 3 dudes on foot.....but they had a very large flat screen tv unplugged and staged at the front door.....think about that. SMH
