Most likely not. More people are killed (internal body damage) by wearing seat belts than not. Any speed above 50mph will cause internal body damage when the vehicle is suddenly stopped - like from 65mph to zero in less than a millisecond. The body stops but the internal organs are still moving shredding pieces as the vehicle is suddenly stopped. Princes Di was a good example. She was wearing a seat belt but when the car suddenly stopped, her heart ruptured separating from the heart.
