As to the Isalmo fanatics, they would nuke the U.S. in a heartbeat..no bleating about innocents because you and I are infidels and infidels can be killed without question and in fact "their god" tells them it is a glorious thing.

Ok, then we don't nuke Mecca then what happens? We sit and wring our hands like the Romans with the barbarians at the gate and wait for them to nuke another few cities? This is war and you don't understand that because you are a decent American. I do because I spent 11 years in US intelligence and read a great deal of the raw intel coming out of the Middle East. This is religious war. They will convert you at the point of a sword or die trying.

Today, I was listening to Brian Suits on KVI (a local conservative talk show host who spent a year as a Nat'l Guard guy in Iraq)....anyway, some guy called in and said that a well known Imam said, IF MECCA were bombed, then he would convert to Christianity, because that would me the Christian God was stronger (paraphrasing here) than the Islam God.......evidently, from the conversation, that IS how many ISLAMICS feel......FYI

Perhaps you should put that question to any muslims you know.

As for me, I think it'd be great and long overdue. Muslims have had their time as the world's asshole neighbors; time to kick them in the peepee and see what mind of men they really are.
