Still should be no excuse for YOU to make no distinction between children and adults.

The death of those children in Japan were the result of very poor citizenship decisions by the adults. As posted before, they allowed their government to behave in an unacceptable manner and that behavior has consequences.

I am still waiting for your reply to my post #151, where I provided my credentials, as they relate to my understanding the impact of using nukes, and my NAME.

Now a few more questions for you: How can a little Irishman such as myself, be a Gumbah? Why have you gone on an insult offensive instead of answering my simple challenge to provide your name and credentials. Has your service in the USPS altered your ability to read a question and answer it without spitting venom in the eyes of the person presenting the interrogative?

Well.

I guess I have to spell this out for you, since you're obvioulsy having a difficult time understanding.

When you, like drop a nuclear bomb on a city, it doesn't distinguish between women, children and military forces and supplies. Unfortunate fact of physics. Maybe someday somebody - probably in this Country because we care - will have worked this problemn out.

Which leads to the next issue - was it necessary to employ such a horrific weapon in the first place. Given the alternatives, both the American forces and the majority of Japanese civilians in the entire Coountry benefitted by the use of the bomb as it forstalled the need for an invasion of the Japanese home islands and kind of suicidal village by village, town by town and city by city killing that would have entailed. The latter would have generated far more civlian casualities than occurred at Hieroshima and Nagasaki combined.

Besides, the people who were so ready to emply bayonets, rifles and worse on women and children in face to face confrontations really don't have much to whine about do they??

Given the alternative between killing some of their civlians and having them come over here and kill all of ours - or as many as they could get their homicidial lunatic hands on, I would opt for the former.

Capisce? Comprehende? Verstehen??
