I tested Sctumsepra's statement that translating "Hawaii" to Arabic using Google Translate shows that the "arabic word below that last letter 'a' in 'kenya' [on the Kenya/brithplace sign] means Hawaii."

The results are not identical, however, they are close. We've seen variants in Arabic spelling in FR threads regarding Barack Obama. Make your own decision as to what is written under the 'a' in "Kenya' on the birthplace sign.
