Nunes Statement on Access to FBI Electronic Communication
House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence ^ | April 11, 2018 | Staff

Posted on 04/11/2018 8:36:54 PM PDT by Rabin

“After numerous unfulfilled requests for an Electronic Communication (EC) related to the opening of the FBI’s Russia counterintelligence probe, Chairman Trey Gowdy and I met this afternoon with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. During the meeting, we were finally given access to a version of the EC that contained the information necessary to advance the Committee’s ongoing investigation of the Department of Justice and FBI. Although the subpoenas issued by this Committee in August 2017 remain in effect, I’d like to thank Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein for his cooperation today.”

They were looking for two particular pages.

Is Rosenstine making them view it electronically, in an isolated closet somewhere?

(so that he can delete documents that start causing the Deep State trouble)

Nunes is being played by the deep state Rosenstein. Would not be surprised the document is fake and all originals destroyed.

Maybe the FBI can work faster with electronic communication because they don’t have to shred it, just press “delete.”

.

Jim Jordan made the Chicago US Atty liaison for Docs sound like a Joke.

He said, they only asked him four questions, and his answer was the same to all - Dunno,

This is a Sessions Special. Doesn’t even sound as if the Chi-Town US Atty wants any part of it.

I've heard now several times over the last few days that there are no Grand Jury docs that need to be filtered out of the 1.3 million documents that Goodlatte wants. The docs are all Hillary email docs. There was no Hillary email GJ.

Even Horowitz has told Goodlatte that there is no reason why the Goodlatte Committee shouldn't get all of the documents unredacted immediately.

Rosenstein is full of it.

I bet he’s acting as Sessions personal attorney in guise with the advantage of viewing documents that a personal attorney could not.

I have much respect for Nunes. It appears that he is a just and persevering man. In general, agents of the FBI and...well, okay, yes (heh), the lawyers of the Dept. of Justice are great people, too. Many of them have saved us from some really bad and otherwise unstoppable characters in our communities in the past. Trying to set the balance right is the difficult part for those with very honest perspectives who are really trying to accomplish that.

What I’m really trying to say is that it’s really great to not be in a third world ****hole, thanks to the most honest people working so hard from their various positions for true justice for all.

For one thing, during the '90s, the Clintons and their socially aberrant associates were doing too much hiring and appointing. For another, way back in the early '70s, my old high school history teacher was right. We were (and are) spoiled rotten as a generation.

My first thought too. With only RR in there he could have made something especially for them that was pure BS. Hopefully they’ll keep pushing for the supporting Intel docs.

Make Rosenstein testify under oath or sign an affidavit that the electronic copies are an exact representation of the originals.

... and then make him reproduce the originals

Yes. There were also many corporate managers and academics in the generation previous to mine, who led in handing our economic future to foreign commie nations, and our families, to the discretion of radical counter-culture activists (see donate to the United Way or be fired).
