DUmmie FUnnies 10-14-04 PM Edition (Dummies Desperately Voting In Post-Debate Online Polls)
Various DUmmies and Assorted MOrons | October 14, 2004 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 10/14/2004 6:33:46 PM PDT by PJ-Comix

The DUmmies, knowing in their guts that they will be losing the BIG POLL on November 2, are now trying to make themselves FEEL GOOD by attempting to win the online Post-Debate polls all over the country. They have conveniently listed dozens upon dozens of online polls on this DUmmie THREAD. Anyway, lets allow the DUmmies their temporary feel-good experience for now because after November 2 when the REAL POLL results come in they will be suffering a massive depression. The hysterical rantings of the DUmmies are in Bolshevik Red while the incisive remarks of your humble correspondent are in the [brackets]:

For tonight's presidential debate, we are once again posting a list of websites that have online polls. Please visit these websites and vote on each of these polls. If you find another poll, please post it in this thread so we can add it to the list.

[Unnecessary, of course, is any need to remind your fellow Dummies to vote for Kerry in these polls no matter how lousy he did.]

You are SO right about the importance of the spin for this debate. It's much more important than debate 1 & 2 because Bush is actually on the ropes now. We can't let him off. If we win the spin cycle for this debate, Bush's base will be demoralized.

[THE SPIN! THE SPIN! The SPIN is so much more important than what was actually said in the debates. Too bad Kerry didn’t win the spin cycle since he got rinsed in Debate #3.]

I'm sure that this has been debated before, and not for the last time. The way that the debates are viewed is as important as the content, since too few people are watching and just hearing the post-debate spin and the carefully-chosen sound bytes. We have to let the media know that our candidate won, so they won't say otherwise, influencing voters, and choosing sound bytes that prove this, since these may be all that is seen by many voters.

[SPIN! SPIN! SPIN! Wasn’t that a Benny Goodman tune? Or am I thinking of Louis Prima?]

The CNN American Votes poll NEEDS HELP!!! It's the second of the three CNN polls listed above. DON'T omit that one!

[Hurry! Hurry! HURRY! We may lose the spin cycle on the America Votes poll!]

PBS poll has been freeped--needs help Kerry is losing badly

[Hurry! Hurry! We will be losing in November but at least we can get a temporary rush now.]

My San Antonio needs help! Kerry, 50-48

[EEK! This could be the worst tragedy to befall San Antonio since Santa Anna paid a visit.]

poll kerry 52; bush 39; larry king just annouced!!!!!!!

[WOO! HOO! Then it’s official! KERRY WON!!! And no need to vote in November since it is a done deal. Remember that.]

Denver Post up w/ Bush at 80% Co Springs must be freeping. Go get em!

[Need that instant rush! Need it NOW because I know it will be the last time before the massive November depression I will be feeling! Phony euphoria---I NEED it!!!]

Another poll- WPSD Kentucky

[Get that one too. I don’t want to be PSDed off by losing that all important WPSD poll.]

Thank goodness PBS "adjusted" that one! They almost gave me heart failure over those original, misplaced marks, folks...and that's no lie!

[You need a life…and that’s no lie!]

CNN site does not show totals... is my vote being counted?

[I gotta know! I GOTTA KNOW! Or else I’ll remain constipated all night!]

WXIA TV: Click on the tiny "Poll" Link People, It's There 132 votes and Bush winning with 99.8%? I think you're all missing it. Quickly turn this around!

[Don’t worry. I just called the EMT. In the meantime, take an aspirin for those heart palpitations.]

Asheville is up.

[How are we doing in North Wilkesboro? My pants are soaking in urine from the anxiety.]

I mean how GWB could pick up 60,000+ votes in the CNN poll in just under 10 minutes when the poll showed JFK ahead for so long with only about 40,000 cast? That just can't be concidence, right!?!?!?

[Call out the DNC lawyers! They are tanned, ready, and rested. And I do mean READY!]

Corpus Christi Texas needs help. Bush at 58%

[And while you’re at it, stamp out Brownsville.]

Hit this One! it's a dead heat! In DEEP south Texas ... we don't have to be red eyes here! Take back the BLUE!

[And Blue Zone Galveston too!]

Woo-hoo!!! Kerry retakes CNN lead!

[Woo-hoo! My life is validated!]

Attention all slackers: Fox is slipping, so is cnn.com and AOL. I think that it is time for everyone who has not voted to get on it.

[Yes! Vote to the beat of the galley drum! BOOM-VOTE! BOOM-VOTE! BOOM-VOTE! Faster! Faster! We have to catch up to the Bush ship!]

The DUmmies need that winning feeling even if it's only temporary. Watch them in tonight's edition of the Dummie FUnnies as they engage in online poll anxiety. To read the DUmmie FUnnies on a regular basis, let me know if you want to be on the PING list.

Where's the connection between Makris, O'Reilly, and Bush? These guys are slipping. They're not even competent paranoids.

I went over to DUh myself tonight. The DUmmies seem quite hopeful that their boy is going to slide to victory. That will make their fall all that much harder on Nov 3.

I just went the DUmmie land and tried to do a search on Makris, O'Reilly, and Bush and they wanted a donation to do it. They're both incompetent capitalists and incompetent paranoids.

You may recall the first round of swift vet ads gave Bush an appoximately 10 point lead. The show about the POWs makes the swift vet ads seem mild.

I predict mass suicides on the left.

Thanks for compiling these excerpts. Even if PU deletes the thread, this will remain.

I have bookmarked it throw it back in the media's lap the next time they take issue with us FReeping A poll.

MS-NBC has specially singled FR out over such activity in the past. These polls got far more response and it was spurred by the DNC itself.

F. Democrats and their double standards

If we win the spin cycle for this debate, Bush's base will be demoralized.

I'm sorry, but if anyone in "Bush's Base" is actually demoralized by post-debate spin from MSM - they should be drug out back and beaten with reeds.

It will go something like this...this scandal is sucking all of the air out of the IMPORTANT ISSUES that MUST be discussed at this time, so obviously KARL ROVE must be behind it and we all know that BOR calls Karl every night before he goes to bed and that O'Reilly set Makris up just before the election to prompt her to act knowing he had the COMPLETE tapes of their conversations. And my tin foil hat is barely getting warm.

Or maybe they want ammunition to claim vote fraud after the election. They'll try it, believe me. They'll say "How could Bush have won, when all these 'polls' showed him losing." Then we'll be hearing about how Bush stole the election for another four years.

The Dem's only means of motivation is through feeling victimized.
