The virtual world is so strange. I feel like I've known you all my life; yet I have never met you.
No blog, post or email can ever replace a hug. That is what I would rather give you. That is what you need. No text could ever replace the that.
Nor is there anything I could write or post that would comfort you right now. I tell you often that I am your friend. But I sit here wondering what kind of friend am I when I can't even be there for you.
You have helped so many and made a real difference with the research you have done. And I can't even post that for the world to know.
Ruth, Theresa is at rest. That is what we tell ourselves. To try to comfort each other. I would much rather give you my shoulder.
But this is my candle for Ruth

Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love.
It is there for each and every one of you.
