About 30 - 35 years ago as a young man, I read a book entitled, "The Defense Never Rests"
by celebrity attorney F. Lee Bailey (By the way, I never have found out what the "F" stands for).
In the book (written WAY BEFORE the OJ trial), attorney Bailey made the assertion that it did not matter what was said but it DID make a difference as to how words were stated in court (The Triumph of Style over Substance). I found Bailey's claim DISTURBING then, and especially after watching Sen. Obama's acceptance speech as the Democratic nominee at the Denver Invesco Greek "Barackopolis" and observing the Obamamofofaithfuls listen and worship at the Temple/Mosque of Obama. Although Sen. Obama is a skilled speaker and orator (proves attorney Bailey's assertion mentioned above), his ideas are very deceptive, disturbing, troubling.
The column by Charles Krauthammer, "The Perfect Stranger" was OUTSTANDING as usual. Krauthammer is an excellent writer (I wish I had the man's talent for writing). I am AMAZED at the reaction of the "objective" (heavy sarcasm) mainstream media frauds like Al Hunt, E.J. Dionne Jr etc. to Sen. Barack Obama's ("The Rubber Band Man" - all that style and grace, woo lord, gave them Obamagasms) acceptance speech. The following comments below were my impressions (visualization) right after the speech at the time, before Krauthammer's published parallel piece.
