We were talking to a couple of DC police at the Captitol when one of them got word over his earpiece that they were estimating the crowd at 1.2 million. That was at about 3PM.
My friend and I were walking all around the place and never saw one reporter. They may have been up by the capitol steps where the speakers were, but they never permeated the crowd. One woman was talking to me about that, and I told her not to worry - we don't need them anymore
