An outgrowth of the 9/12 March on DC, Operation Can You Hear Us Now has declared October 17th to be a nationwide day of demonstrations against media dishonesty.
A key demonstration will be the protests at CNN headquarters [rally at CNN Center on the III flags starting at 1030 edst for the demonstration from 1200-1400], which Vanderboegh blogged earlier this week:
The Rainy Day Patriots.org head to ATLANTA, Ga.
MEDIA PROTEST at CNN
The 9-12 March on Washington was only the beginning .
Heres whats next - We are PEACEFULLY protesting the COMPLICIT and BIASED media on the sidewalks outside CNNs headquarters in downtown Atlanta. Come join the rest of the Rainy Day Patriots as we make ourselves heard! This is part of a nation-wide protest where thousands all across the country are attending similar protests at other major news outlets on the same day. Join us and help us make the most impact at these huge media moguls!
Date: Saturday, October 17, 2009, 12 hours round trip from Birmingham,AL to Atlanta, GA.
Be sure to take your own camera and post here if you go.
Interesting idea. This will change nothing at CNN but might help people recognize that CNN is a political entity rather than the news organization they pretend to be.
Just passing this along to anyone that might be in the area.
Here is a link that has a lot of locations dates and time.

They will hear us!!!!
My hubby and I are headed out to the Sacramento one right now. Hope people show (despite the good football games we’ll be missing—actually, we consider it a fitting statement against Notre Dame to miss their game on behalf of the protest).
