Former High Ranking Soviet Spy Warns of Dem’s Marxist Reshaping of America Tuesday, January 5, 2010, 11:44 AM

Red Horizons

Ion Mihai Pacepa, who wrote about the brutal Romanian Marxist Nicolae Ceausescus, fears the Marxism invading our shores.

As democrats continue their backroom deals and billion dollar buyoffs to reshape the American economy and culture a former high-ranking Soviet spy sent out a warning this week on the dangerous Marxist policies of the majority party. Christian News Wire reported, via Transsylvania Phoenix:

The highest-ranking Soviet and Eastern Bloc Intelligence Official ever to defect to America (in 1978) — who went on to help Ronald Reagan win the Cold War — has endorsed Paul Schiffer, Republican candidate for Congress in Ohio’s 16th Congressional District. Pacepa escaped Romania to become an American citizen.

Lt. General Ion Mihai Pacepa’s statement follows:

“Thirty-one years ago I paid with two-death sentences–from Communist Romania–for my desire to break with Marxism and become a citizen of the greatest country on earth. All former Soviet satellites have now ‘defected’ from Marx’s socialism, which had transformed a third of the world into an abysmal 20th century feudalism. Great Britain, Italy, Germany, France and Greece have also abandoned their ruinous experiments with Marx’s socialism.

“Alas, now the virus of Marxism with its fatal governmental takeovers has started infecting our shores. If the Democratic Party has its way, it will transform the United States into a socialist country in all but name. The 2010 elections could prevent that catastrophe from happening.

When America is bankrupt, do you suppose we’ll demand Pelosi’s head on a platter?

From Blue Collar Todd

In Hannah Arendt’s insightful study of Totalitarianism one thing is clear about those who want to control our lives. Totalitarians love bureaucracy and these Democrats are almost indistinguishable from past Totalitarians. We are in big trouble if the GOP does not make big gains in 2010 to stop what the Democrats want to do. It is rather frightening when former Marxists realize the danger of Marxism but today’s Democrats piously think they can do it better. God help us.

MICHAEL STEELE AND JIM GREER AND HIS COUNTRY CLUB BUDDIES KILLED EFFORTS TO REBRAND THE DEMOCRATS AS THE DEMOCRAT SOCIALIST PARY.

4 WORDS FOR STEELE AND GREER; ON YOUR BIKE SUCKERS

RNC showdown over ‘socialist’ resolution may be avoided

From CNN Political Producer Peter Hamby
Steele is against a resolution renaming the Democratic Party.’

OXON HILL, Maryland (CNN) — Members of the Republican National Committee appear to have reached a compromise that would let GOP leaders avoid a possible dispute over a controversial resolution that calls on Democrats to re-name their party the “Democrat Socialist party.”

Steele has come out against the resolution, calling it “not an appropriate way to express our views on the issues of the day.” One of Steele’s allies on the committee, Florida GOP chairman Jim Greer, told CNN the resolution is “stupid” and “ridiculous.”

However, New Jersey committeeman David Norcross, one of the sponsors of the resolution, told CNN the language is being massaged so that Steele and others on the committee will be more receptive.

“The language is being changed so that the proposers and chairman Steele are on the same page,” Norcross said.

He said that as of Tuesday afternoon, the chairman of the RNC Standing Committee on Resolutions had changed the language to “condemn the Democrats’ march to socialism” instead of “talking about the ‘Democrat Socialist’ party.”

The change was made, Norcross said, so that members “wouldn’t have to fight about it, and I think everybody agreed.”

Wisconsin GOP chairman Reince Priebus, another Steele ally, expressed confidence the proposal will be tweaked in the resolution committee, and that it should pass without issue.

RNC chair Michael Steele doesn’t think his party can take back the House in ‘10, and even if they do, he doesn’t know if the GOP is ready.

“The Democratic Party are not just socialists, They are hard core Communists Party and their methodology is the same as early Germany in bring America down. And they are doing a good job of destroying us.”

Thank you, Logical me!

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

At best these are useful idiots who serve the communists by default.

But they sure-as-hell are behaving like communists.

Believe me, once the useful idiots have softened-up (weakened) this country, the fight will then be between them and the real-deal communists, folks.

Guess who wins that one?

It would appear that this generation of Americans will have to suffer more to arrive at a willingness to fight—and they will certainly suffer.

They should be in the streets already, threatening a real revolt. They are not, and that is very frightening.

They are spoiled and arrogant, taking far, far too much for granted.

Leftist power mongers are nothing new.

Americans doing absolutely nothing while their country, and their freedom, is being taken from them is what’s new, and evil.

Where are you America? Where are your fighters? Where are your warriors, your defenders?

Is this really how human freedom will end here? With not so much as a voice raised in direct defiance?

Is this what our ancestors suffered, sacrificed, and died for? For us to sit idle while politicians thrust a dagger into the heart of Lady Liberty?

Is this the best we can do?

You know, it’s a pain-in-the-*ss now, but many will die before this insanity runs its course, mark my words.

We had better grab the smelling salts and start fighting.

Americans have been free enough time to have totally “forgotten” what tyranny looks like. To them, it’s book written by a talk show host, who says it’s a bad thing. They have no clear picture of it.

They are in shock and awe, I believe. They don’t want to believe it is really happening to them.

Like a deer in headlights they wait to see what happens next.

I know what happens next: they lose their paycheck, their voice, their freedom.

Many still think it can’t happen here. Well, it’s happening right this very minute.

I grew up around Russian defectors and have heard what seem to be thousands of accounts of life under leftists. Through these many conversations they taught me how to really appreciate my freedom, and about the greatest lie in human history: communism.

Even the liberals in this country (useful idiots, the lot) believe that their “progressive”, “new version” of a left-wing agenda is indeed something new, and that it will end differently because they will it so, they are much too kind-hearted to allow bad things to happen—IT’S AS OLD AS DIRT, and an aggressive cancer! Slavery is not new, and they CAN NEVER CONTROL THE THING THAT THEY ARE UNLEASHING ON US!

It will end as it has always ended: with piles of burning corpses. Not in ten years, maybe not in twenty, but if it is not reversed many humans will stagnate, suffer and die.

The last two sentences says it all -

"If the Democratic Party has its way, it will transform the United States into a socialist country in all but name."

"The 2010 elections could prevent that catastrophe from happening."

Then-Representative Bernie Sanders was the convener and first. The founding members were concerned about the economic hardship imposed by the deepening recession, the growing inequality brought about by the timidity of the Democratic Party response at the time.

Additional House representatives joined soon, including Major Owens (D-NY), Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), David Bonior (D-MI), Bob Filner (D-CA), Barney Frank (D-MA), Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), Jim McDermott (D-WA), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Patsy Mink (D-HI), George Miller (D-CA), Pete Stark (D-CA), John Olver (D-MA), Lynn Woolsey (D-CA), and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
