Remember, the so-called 'benefits' of the program will not begin until 2014. But the fees, taxes, and other surcharges that are essential to the plan go into effect immediately.

This has led to some disturbing consequences just within the last 24 hours.

Karl Denninger via WRSA reported this:

Pelosi was right, the fools had to pass the bill to find out what was in it.

” Ban Medicare recipients from receiving follow-up care within 30 days of their initial treatment as part of government-run healthcare.”
This kicks in immediately

Wouldn’t be something if so much hell is created in the first few months that they are forced to repeal odorkocare. Or, to save face, have it speeded to the supreme court to be declared unconstitutional.

I thought the God-damned thing (and I mean that literally) was going to be utterly inhumane.

Any serious analysis is probably going to conclude that it either has to be inhumane or unaffordable to keep the core concept.

This ought to be called the P. T. Barnum bill.

"Ban Medicare recipients from receiving follow-up care within 30 days of their initial treatment as part of government-run healthcare."

Wait until people start hearing about this.

One elderly woman was sent home from the emergency room after the bare minimum of treatment with a fever of 103 degrees. When she was forced to return to the emergency room within 24 hours, due to the fact that she was not adequately treated the first time, the doctor informed her they could not give her care because it was 'too soon after her initial treatment.'

A few years ago, during my chemo, I had a medi-port implanted. It got infected [despite me keeping it clean]. Doc admitted me to hospital - just in time after 3 days.

If it happened now, I’d have to wait 30 days - and be planted in the ground after two weeks.

Hope all of the NAARP members are aware of this, if not they sure will be soon. NAARP pushed this on the seniors.

Whenever they send me mail - I trash it. They should all be jamming the NAARP phone lines.

I suggest that each reader who is employed and currently has health insurance check with your human resources department about the immediate/near-term impact of Obamacare on your benefits package.
