Got this in an e-mail thought I'd pass it on for all to read.

Alaska. The only place I've ever been a passenger landing in a 737 on gravel. Uphill. With about 37.3 ft at either end of the 'runway' for overrun before you needed those flotation devices that are pretending to be seat cushions.
And the floatplane guys thought the jet pilots had it easy.
Crazy flying is norm up there.

Flight AS 258, seat 1A tomorrow morning - I’ll make sure and listen for the name of the pilot!

Almost without exception I have had a good experience with Alaska Airlines. I’ve flown them a lot.
They even had Bible verses printed on napkins for a year or so after 9/11. They are one of the few airlines that has been doing well all along, compared to other airlines it’s easy to see the difference.
