Double digits according to the last Ras poll I saw.
Perry has from an 8-10 point lead but that is misleading. He is the conservative in the race and he will win by somewhere from 12-15 points. Texas is still a very conservative state and you can’t go by just the polls in this election. With the enthusiasm in favor of the Republicans, he will be winning big!

I hear time and again how smart Bill White is supposed to be. Which, of course, is wrong on its face because he is a Democrat. A few years back I heard Bill White speak at a graduation for the University of Houston Clear Lake. It was such a large audience that they had it Reliant Stadium. It was amazing how boring White was. He spoke for almost an hour and said nothing but feel good pablem. His entire speech was nonsensical. People in the audience were starting to yell at him when he finally stopped.
The contest between Bill White and Rick Perry is a contest between a douche bag and a turd sandwich. Perry is a floater in the toilet but he is much better than White. Texas voters will hold their noses in droves and vote for Perry. I did.
More conservative than Bill White is not the same as the conservative.
Okay, while agree, we do have a limited choice. Who would you vote for?
Only conservatives need apply? Perry? That lying sack of fertilizer? All I can say for him is that he isn’t Bill White. Why can’t Texans stop listening to campaign rhetoric and elect real conservatives? Why are “conservatives” voting for useless RINOs such as Perry, KBH, Dewhurst, and Cornyn?
Come on now... he is not what I would call a real Conservative but compared to White...come on, who ya going to vote for. This election is about getting back some balance of power for the Republicans. Next election, we can fight in the primaries to get real Conservatives in. This election is about stopping Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.
I already voted for Perry in early voting.
Not a great choice but clearly the best of those available.

No fair... I wish I could vote early.
I didn’t want to take a chance of having something like an truck wreck with my kids keep me from voting. That’s about what it would take but better to be already done.
