I leafed through the pages of Volume I in the series entitled, "The Greatest Quotes of Michelle Obama, to plagiarize the opening line for today's tale. I'm drained from the effort.
"For the first time in my life, I'm ashamed of my country." I've lived a bit longer than The First Lady but yesterday I hung my head and wept. From the time that I campaigned, in 1940, in front of PS 97 on Brooklyn's, Highlawn Ave, for FDR's election as President, that seat always had a sign on it lettered, "World Leader." It was shirked off yesterday by her husband's humiliating performance during his press conference with Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
He handed it over, in front the all seeing lens that recorded it for an eternity, to Bibi.

i laughed at the people who somehow did not see this coming- don’t mean to be harsh but this was as predictable as the sun rising from the east....the left and anti-Israel policies go hand in hand....
The proof in the pudding will be when Zero speaks before AIPAC Monday.
Will the pro-Israel PAC cheer this abomination.
They are typically fiscal conservatives and SOCIAL LIBERALS. Most approve of his government hellcare. Even during the primary when he was running, Obama was seen with enemies of Israel mucking it up for fund raising money and they still voted for him. I don't believe that the fate of Israel matters much to them.
She did tell me that she almost got chased out of a family dinner when they all started screaming at her for even questioning whether or not they should vote for Obama. I never understood this. This was a Jewish family that I had met and considered most of them very intelligent. Several of them had lived in Israel for a time and even did their time in the military. One of the brother-in-laws was a former Israeli military pilot. And all were Democrats.
That makes me madder than Obama Speech.
Yes, good article. But I don’t know how many liberal Jews will see it this way. He doesn’t say whether he voted for Obama the first time around, but from what he says about Rev. Wright and Co., I doubt it.
He may have voted for FDR, but he seems to be a genuine supporter of Israel. Put him in the company of Ed Koch.
Mr. Bergstein, the Neville Chamberlain "Peace in our Time" was made to avoid war with Germany. But even at that time, the Nazis were persecuting and murdering Jews. The Obama declaration is the green light to officially commence the next Jewish Holocaust.
But, I HAVE to know. Did you vote for him? DID YOU? Did many of your Jewish friends and relatives vote for him? DID THEY?
that would include probably 95% of Jews of that old age and the contradiction of that support for FDR is astounding given his WWII decisions
same as Jews today so obsessed with lib policies and the dismantling of traditional culture here will continue to support Obama and this profound shift in US attitude (official) towards Israel
it's incredible...Jews to be so smart seem to historically make bad political choices en masse always reacting to something that happened before or just as part of their creed of questioning the culture they visit and yet it ALWAYS comes back to hurt them...and yet they don't learn
Will Harvey Weinstein and Babs and Speilberg and Geffen and Schulzberger ..who loathe what I consider traditional America...will they now wake up?
I'm not holding my breath. They are kapos pure and simple.
They place their own neurosis about a culture here they profit from but view as inherently evil Christian and their desire to whittle away at that all at the expense of their blood kin..however tenuous...they are still shared culture...but they just pretend to care but really don't...they are just modern KAPOS...nothing more.
And ...this does bug me and no disrespect to David Mamet or Charles Krauthammer or any other prominent Jews who came around eventually but they did so over worrying about Israel not over worrying as much about what the LEFT has done to my country and our culture...which they have decimated.
For Jews like The Great One and others....I'm sorry...must be hell for ya...dealing with so many stupids in your orbit.
I am actually shocked Obama went this far....even Carter did not do this...he may have wanted to but did not call publicly for it.
*my support for Israel has nothing to do with my Christianity
Tell me Mr. Bergstein, were you surprised by this?
Don’t worry. Obama continues to keep the Israeli on the perpetually flowing public teat of overburned American taxpayers. Happy now?
Likewise, the Jewish people were spit on, cursed, killed and tortured during Hitlers reign, they hid their true identity in Spain, Italy, Portugal, south America, Mexico, etc. everywhere they fled to live in obscurity. Horrible circumstances, thus they became democrats and believe in the idea of social justice ... based lifelong on their history.
Jews today are mostly younger; but were impressed by their parents to stay hidden, and be a democracy, and thus democrats. It is history that formed their ideas. Sadly they do not see the error of this. Not many even look to see. MO
“As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.” Proverbs 26:11. Fools among Jews, apparently not a new phenomenon.
I feel like crying too. Hitler and Osama would have loved obama’s opinion. Our president hates Israel, Jews, and christians. He promised to side with Islam and he’s keeping that promise.
I have not heard as much refrain as I expected yet except this:

Of course they will. American Jews as a whole aren’t really connected with Israel or the historical persecution. It’s been generations.
